What a beautiful day, how I love my Volvo

Here in western PA, the weather has been bouncing between fall and winter weather. Some snow, some hail, some freezing rain, and some ... really nice, warm, beautiful days. Today is one of the latter. Frankly, I couldn't be more happy. I don't care if it's miserable all weekend, but it's just really nice out. It's also a day where I have to make a run to the next county over for work to get some parts from my previous employer (leaving on good terms and structuring an exit strategy worked out here, as well as an agreement to provide them with some business while taking care of my needs at my new job). It's just one of those few days where I'm able to drive with the windows and sunroof open. God, I love having a sunroof on my Volvo. Heck, I love my Volvo. Here's some pictures. Please excuse the mess in the background - I hadn't had a chance to clean the driveway when the pics were taken (was still moving into the house at the time.

Yup... Gotta Love The Swedish Brick

I really do love my 264GL. Not quite 46k miles on the odometer at this point, and it is a 1978. Still needs body work (got the hood hinges today, though; birthday present from my best friend). I reckon that this time next year, "Inga" will be lookin' good.

Can't go wrong with a brick

You can't help but love a Volvo. Your 264 sounds like a gem. Once you get the body all good, you could probably do shows with it. Would love to see photos as it comes together.

Mileage

200K may be 140,000 + miles away.

I misread the mileage as about 145K +- ( -100,000 miles) the first time or two, also.

Hard to find an older style Volvo both that well preserved, and with that few miles any more! I did not know there were any with less than 100,000 mile anywhere for any reasonable price.

I am not in the market ... but what a find he has! WOW!
