My New iBook

Ok folks, my girlfriends gonna hate me, but I just went out and bought myself a new iBook. Stopped at the bank first to get the money, had them phone ahead. I've got to do that more often. It's nice when you're 17, hand over $1600 in cash, and they don't check to see if it's counterfit.

It's been way too long since I've had a brand new just out of the box Mac. Unfortunantly I've got to go to work, but I'm predicting a sleepless night playing with this thing.

yeah...

I was looking forward to handing over $1300 in cash for my eMac, but, sadly, it was done electronically, so... aww. Sad

But- DO NOT LOOK FOR FAULTS. If you do what I did with said eMac and be really picky about quality and any small faults, especially adding them all together and seeing the whole computer as a problem, you'll end up depressed and upset about your purchase. Not saying the iBook is a problem or that all computers are lemons, but be careful. Could make you want a PC. Or not. Blum 3

Want a PC? When OS X is so much better?

Why would I ever want a PC other than to run Linux on? And since OS X is BSD based, it's not like I'm exactly losing out there.

The way I look at it, even if I find faults with my Mac, it's still better than any PC I could get to do the same type of job.

be doop be doo

1- I WAS only joking... I want an iBook regardless of my problems with Apple hardware. Sad *jealous*

2- Well... I ended up wanting a PC... Blum 3 But really it's just because I wanna make one into a full media centre(TV, radio n everything...) and in my knowledge Macs can't do that(well not without a lot of parts-hunting) and it'd cost more than I have anyway.

No sense of humour

I'm sorry, unfortunantly my sense of humour burst at a very young age and I had to get it removed. Because of this, I now do tech support.

::)

(Random offtopic note, the new AF design looks so much nicer on this thing than any of my older machines. I tend to be a big believer in having sites readable on the older machines as well...but this is pretty nice. Kudos to the folks who put together the designs, and the ones who modded the code to allow it. Great job folks!)
