u-microcomputers u-dt i/o card documentation

I’ve just acquired a U-DT parallel digital i/o card for the Apple II - these cards were made in England by a company called U-Microcomputers. I’m wondering if anyone has the documentation for this card? I can’t find any documentation on the web.

The U-DT card is described on page 14 of the U-Microcomputers catalogue archived on Asimov.net here: U-Microcomputers catalogue

The card uses two 6522 VIA chips, so I can probably figure out how to use it without the manual, but it would be nice to see the manufacturers documentation, if it stil exists somewhere....

Hello,

Hello,

You mention the U-DT card but I think the picture shows the U-A/D card. The catalog confirms that (see pic on page 13).

You can find the software the U-A/D card on the Apple II documention project website but there is no manual there.

U-DT

Thanks for the link!

However, I can confirm that I have only the U-DT board and not the U-A/D board - these two peripherals do share a common card, but as the catalogue describes, “The U-DT is the U-A/D board with the analog interfacing chips not fitted.” and sans the second board connected via ribbon cable. Anyhow, the U-A/D software may still be helpful :-)

Hi, did you manage to find any information about this card ? I do have the complete system + user manual, but I’m in Ireland.

Could you possible scan or photograph, then upload the manual; or make a disk image for the database?
