Apple II Astec Power Supply Bad Component @ D9

ASTEC AA 11040B died while in normal use. Component at D9 which looks like a resister blew.

Apple Product Information on Astec Power Supplies, originator Larry Sovulewski from 1982 lists

D9 as a rectifier RGPA5B, I believe Apple part number 226-11100040.

Short of removing one from another P.S. where can I obtain one of these?

Thanks for the assistance

not exact match

D9 as a rectifier RGPA5B, I believe Apple part number 226-11100040.

Based on the technical manual, the 11040B uses a part with Astec designation

D7RECTIFIER ASSY853-00200210

(See page 14.)

The Apple part number appears to be U375-0017 (I wonder if they still know what that is?)

It is a glass/ceramic diode in a metal heat shroud. I don't think that the Vishay RGP15B is an exact match.

I would also be somewhat concerned at what caused the diode to fail. Is there a preceding circuit fault that made it exceed its ratings?
