On a much lighter note a IIgs was brought into a Pawn Shop rather than a recycler. On Pawn Stars cable show episode "Wise Guys" Premiere Date: 02/14/2011.

check out shipping cost - I suppose the Pawn Stars were banking on a premium selling price because it was briefly on TV.

I also noticed they have a reserve on the auction and at the current bid of $168 it still hasn't been met. I'd be willing to bet their reserve doesn't get met, but we'll see.

That episode was on here in MD again last night.
She sold it to them for $50.
You know damned well they are going to try and get at least 5 times that.
The auction ended with a winning bid of $315, so with the shipping it's going for $10 shy of $500. Not a bad return on spending $50.
