I did pay with Paypal but since it was family or friends not merchant I am out of luck. This person should be DELETED from this site!! @ADMIN please delete this persons account!!Painful and expensive lesson!!
I'm going to leave both Tekhunter's account enabled and eackerman's warning in place, at least until I learn more.
If you paid with Family & Friends, you should still have recourse in that you can back track who got the money. You can inquire as to what account it landed in, or at least you can let PayPal know this particular PayPal account is being operated fraudulently. Fraud over the wire is a federal offense.
I did advise Paypal and since I authorized the transfer they consider it a valid transfer. I will send the correspondence to the @admin
