Come see the replica 1 at the VCF

I will be demoing the replica 1 at the VCF this Saturday and Sunday November 6th and 7th. The VCF is at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View California.

Oh yeah! I'll be there with the new replica 1 SE connected up to the AltairPC. This is going to be a great show and you might be able to win a replica 1 while you are there!

Any plans for VCF Midwest? That might be one I could actually attend. I don't see much about it on the vintage.org site.

They just announced that this week. Things take time to develop, such as who is going to speak, things like that. I'm 6 hours away and planning on that one this year too! I guess I'll be doing a VCF mini tour if I hit the VCF west show later this year. The west coast show is big, lots of people. The east coast shows are smaller but just as fun.

Ok, wow. I didn't realize when it was announced. It makes much more sense that things aren't laid out yet if no body has had the chance to get registered.

I'm debating on if I should just attend, or setup an exhibit. I've got my Amiga 1000 with a Spirit Insider board, and the PC SideCar box. A nice Mac 512k, a SPARCserver 1000, and heck, even a Plus/4 in the original box (matching serial numbers! Smile ) Oh, then there's the near cherry HP 200LX palmtop I just got... My wife would probably kill me if there was no space for her and the kids in the car too...
