Help Identifying Vintage Apple Computer Poster? // c1981 UK Advertising? //

I was reffered to this forum by someone who said it may help me in identifying a vintage Apple Computers poster I came across in my ongoing picker quest for flipping fodder. So lets just cut to the chase.. I came across this last week..

Software for SVA ZVX4 8" Drive Controller

Would love to get a copy of the support diskettes for this unit. A user named "Arf the Lab" mentioned having them, but the post is from 2005 so I doubt my PM will get through. But, I remain hopeful Smile

ADTpro silliness

I just discovered (thanks to a vodka-enhanced evening) that you can use ADTpro to bootstrap AppleWin!

This lends to the idea of using 2 Applewin emulators, on the same machine.. One running AE and the other running TeleCat BBS. Now I can organize (easily) my BBS rips and images. Which is my short-term project.

Enhanced File Catalogs for Mac GUI Vault

Today's Mac GUI Vault update brings enhanced file catalogs to over 70% of the 27,000 files currently in the Vault archive; that's almost 19,000 files.

My vintage wire-wrapped card of excellence. I have no idea what I just bought.

I buy apple cards not necessarily knowing what it is or does. I only do this when it’s cheap.

Transwarp + Zip Chip

Quick question:
Is it possible to install Transwarp and Zip Chip on the same computer?

Please share your opinion.
Thank you.

Help_The Best Way to Copy Files to the CFFA Card?

All,

I need help.

I have been away from doing regular Apple II stuff for a while.
I want to get back to it, but it seems somewhere along the path
(no pun intended)I have lost my way.

I am back at my trusty Platinum IIe trying to copy all of
my disks (Games and Utilites) to my CFFA Cards.
I have read the CFFA Manuals, but there does not seem to be a definite step-by-step
procedure for copying programs.

Apple IIe memory removal and replacement

My Apple IIe gives me the following after the RAM test RAM: 0 1 0 0 0 0 0 0

I am assuming that it is stating that the chip at F6 is bad. Can I unsolder and replace? Is there any special trick to doing this to avoid damaging the other components or the replacement? As far as a replacement chip goes, am I limited to what I can scavenge from another motherboard or is there a source for getting new chips? Any and all advice is most appreciated. Thanks!

A couple of SuperSerialCard questions (simple stuff for sure)

I'm doing some basic experiments and learning the ins and outs of the SSC. Finally!! Currently I have a basic setup II+ to PC (SSC-cable-DB9serialport).

Is it normal for the terminal (PC hypertem) to have to be set to VT100 and FORCE INCOMING TO 7-bit ASCII? FOr unless I do that I get some extra garbage on the PC side.

The 8-bit / 7-bit dip switch on the card doesn't seem to correct this.

Now, if I use VT102 emulation on AlphaCom, I don't have this problem.

What's going on here.

ADTPro is sending garbled text when I try to send data to boot my Apple IIe, but it's consistent garbled text. Any suggestions?
