TWGS cache test failed and how to fix it?

I have an Apple IIGS ROM01 w/ TWGS (TransWarp GS) 7MHz / 32K Cache, when it's cold booted, it can work smoothly.

But when it get hot or reboot, it will get Self-Test **Failed**3 on step "Cache RAM".

when hot reboot after TWGS self-test failed, got the error code $0046.

I had try to replace all three cache chips with new set of 25ns, but no lucky.

How can I do?

How about a benchmark software project for Apple IIs ?

When I still keep enhancing my IIGS with TWGS, I wonder why there is not a system benchmark software for Apple II family, and do you wanna get one ?

Apple IEEE-488 Interface card

Dear folks,

I'm looking to find some manual describing the function and set-up of an Apple IEEE-488 Interface card.
I searched the internet already but didn't find a PDF of such a manual.

Any help will be appreciated.

Many thanks and have a nice weekend

Another Apple II+ Boot Problem - UPDATED with Photos!

Yes yet another Apple II+ boot problem.

Before I get jumped on, I did search the forums and came up with 67 pages of possible links regarding "Apple II Boot" but none of them that I saw seemed to match this set of circumstances.

I am trying to help a friend get an old Apple II+ up and running. He received it totally dead and non functional.

Apple II+ lower case and shift-key mod

I am sure this information is posted somewhere, so beat me up if you must.

For day-to-day Apple II stuff, I'm using an Apple //e Platinum. To mess around with my old BBS, I've purchased an Apple ][+ and each of the orignal cards I owned back then:

0: 16K Card
2: Apple Cat Modem
3: SmartTerm 80 Column Card (special firmware that I write the BBS towards)
4: Mountain Apple Clock II

SD Disk][ Plus

I've seen the videos that Joe's Computer Museum has done about mass storage for the Apple II series. It included information on the CFFA 3000 card, the Floppy Emu external drive and the ReActive Micro CF Card drive.

The last CFFA card that I found went for $900 on eBay this past week. Rediculous. I am waiting for them to create another batch of them, but in the mean time, while searching on eBay, I found a product that seems to work better for my situation anyway.

Death by interrupts - ugh

Apple II interrupts, its like the solar eclipse, strangely, you want to stare at it but you know you'll go blind for doing so. Its like whatever OS you booted with is going to destroy any jump vectors in memory so whats it all about? Finding yourself having to read prodos manuals for MLI code for IRQ installation!! This is terrible.... Im finding little tidbits of info, but it assumes different run strategies were used so that DOS doesnt destroy interrupts. This is how i do it on a commodore below for NMI or IRQ
