Need Static Electricity Prevention Advice

My home is rampant with static electricity discharges. Every time I walk across the carpet I'm building up a charge. I'm worried about shocking my Apple IIe to death every time I touch it. It's a huge problem. Are there any products I can put under my Apple IIe or around it to protect it from the static electricity coming from me? I remember a mat I used to have under it back in the early 80's, but I'm not sure what to buy now. -thanks

Apple IIgs Noisy PSU

My power supply is audibly noisy. It's the loudest power supply I've come across. Is it typical for an Apple IIgs power supply to be noisy? I mean at a level and pitch to make your ears ring after about 30mins to 1 hours use or deaf if you used it for 8 hours a day constantly. Okay maybe I'm exaggerating [not death after 8h, but ears ring after 1h] it's really annoying though. This is also with the case closed.

karateka famous game of apple II

recently, I aquired apple II karateka game.it can remind me kid's memory. special thanks cyberfriend mr.2Eor2C assist.and now,I usually play this collect game.it is so funny and it is so easy to the end.I feel it is differcult level is eagle.I just use my hand to beat eagle.hahaha.

somethime I can go on to next level.last master is tall and strong.I must be careful.but somehow I can lesten to victory music.beware,I can't stop in front of princess.if I do it.I will kicked by her.

Drivers for IBS AP35 needed

I have just gotten a IBS AP35 card (accelerated graphics card) that seems to be in working order, but I don't have the driver software for it and it does not have a ROM. Does anyone have access to the software for that board?

IIgs composite output color issue

Hi guys,

I recently pulled out my old GS and it seems the RGB monitor has kicked the bucket. Sad

Anyway, I plugged the composite output to an old Commodore 1702 (which has no problems) and the color is very strange.

In the control panel, all color options are shades of gray. Is this normal?

Apple II games have terribly wrong colors. Mostly pan-inducing clashes of purple and green only instead of the expected Apple colors.

Need Help Getting External Hard Drive Working. Recomend Anyone?

Hello.. I am sure that there are some pretty talented people in this Forum that work with Apple II hardware. One that knows how to properly diagnose problems and fix them. Can someone recommend a person in this Forum that is good with Accessing and Retrieving Data from an External Hard Drive for the Apple II? I'm not even sure an Service exists for this or not. If you guys can help , I would appreciate any feedback on this matter. I understand that nothing is a gaurantee when it comes to working with Vintage Hardware , but you have to start somewhere.

Hey guys :O) I am looking for a few software titles that I seem to have lost. They are:

Pippin Copy [ A list of copy programs from back in the day]

Super Master Create V2.0 [A great set of DOS's that you can install]

And ANY version of Boot-legger Magazine issues.

If someone out there has any of the above , can you let me know? I would appreciate it!

Would it work with an Apple II non-plus, allowing you to access 256K of memory? Does this require any associated software or is this plug & play.

How Apple II NTSC video works

I am working on a Windows application that will take a graphics file and convert it to Apple II graphics format.

Right now I'm just trying to understand how a certain pixel pattern will look in color NTSC. The Apple II reference manual tries to explain this, but it seems like it is missing out on many details.
