Corrected post: strange Apple II display problem (with CORRECT picture attached!)

Moderator my apologies for the previous duplicate postings. These were in error while trying to post an attachment picture.

Anyway...I plugged in my Apple II original (rev 1) and get vertical bars as shown
The cursor moves right when I type a key and to a new line when I press return
Beeps when I hit RESET

My monitor is a flatscreen plasma TV that supports PAL and SECAM
I am plugged into what I think is composite video input
Chips have been reseated

Any suggestions if you have seen this problem before would be appreciated

Strange display problems with Apple II

I plugged my Apple II original (Rev 1) into a PAL/NTSC dual plasma TV (i.e. modern flat screen)
On start-up I only get a black and white screen with vertical bars and a flashing cursor
The cursor moves when I type a key and goes to a new line when I hit return.

The RESET button gives a beep and all keys are responsive. It only seems to be a display problem.

I tried reseating the chips. Also tried plugging the video cord into the SupRMod II. Make no difference

Has anyone else encountered this issue? How can I fix this?

BLOAD/BRUN beginning bytes

I was using a C compiler for the Apple II (cc65) I sucessfully compiled one of their examples, and I put it on a disk image to test in an emulator. But...the BLOAD/BRUN commands need a few bytes at the beginning of the file to tell it where to load, and how much. But I have no clue what exactly it needs, and in what syntax? If some Apple II innards guru could help me with this that would be wonderful!

Fortran for Apple II

Hello! As my title says, I'm looking for a Fortran (any version) in DSK image to transfer to my Apple II. Reading at some places, like Wikipedia, I discovered this programming language was made for our dear computer... but I can't find nothing at internet!

Setting The Output

On an Apple II, the command:
IN#2
tells the apple to get input from card slot 2 as well as the keyboard. This is used to let a serial port "type" a program.

Now, my question is: what is the command to set the output? I've seen it done before, but I can't for the life of me, remember how. This could be used to set the output data to a printer card, or a SSC.

Apple IIc GUI Ghost

On a few websites, I've found evidence for a GUI for the Apple IIc. Some called it MouseDesk others called it MouseWorks. I want more information on this. I could find very few sites about this led allone a disk image. Could anybody send me an immage?

Also, will a mouse from an old Mac work on the apple IIc?

Card Slot Designations

In the apple IIc the most common apple cards have been built right into the motherboard. But...Which ones are where? If someone could give me a list of the kind of card, and what "slot" it is in, that's be great! I spsificly want to know about the SSC card in the apple IIc.

Also, are there tape ports on the Apple IIc?

Transfer Apple CP/M to MS-DOS

Hello. I have many text files created with CP/M on my Apple IIe (with Microsoft Softcard). I have installed a PC Transporter card and I transfer the CP/M files to DOS files (with ADOSXFER.COM CP/M utility), then from DOS to ProDOS, then from ProDOS to MS DOS (with TRANSFER.EXE PCTransporter utility). It’s a long way.
I have read about ADTPro software and I have also a SuperSerial card but I’m not sure if ADTPro can read a text file from an Apple CP/M disk and transfer it to a readable MS-DOS file. Maybe ADTPro can only transfer like a “bit copy

Printing mailing labels

When I owned a Brother Word Processor in the 1990s, I was able to make a page of return address labels, simply by asking the machine to print my address thirty times on a page of labels.

How does one do this with an Apple IIGS, using AppleWorksGS? I have had a devil of a time figuring this out. I have both an ImageWriter II printer (continuous fee labels) and a StyleWriter (label pages.)
