Apple II 16k Language Card

I'm looking for an Apple II 16k Language Card. Simple right. ;) But a lot of them are old and beat on E-Bay.

There is this new design, different from the Microsoft version. I like it because I don't have to pull any chips to use it. It's on ebay: Apple II 16k Language Card

Has anybody tried this card out? Or have you heard about it? It's about the same price as a tested and working card. But I'd rather have something new, that I can just pop in, if it works.

My 12V power supply conversion using PICO PSU and ATX4VC

Hi everyone, just wanted to show off what I've been working on for my Apple ][ Europlus

Using a Streacom Nano PSU, and an ATX4VC voltage conversion board by DekuNukem.

Custom made plate to mount the 12V connector, faceplate cut from a new C14 connector, a new power switch, and various other bits and pieces recycled from various places. New lengths of 18 gauge wire, and a new motherboard connector.

The original internals are completely in-tact and it is totally reversible!

Clear face Kickstarter for Apple II floppy disk

In case somebody is interested, I started a Kickstarter for the transparent (clear) faceplate of the Apple II drive, that goes very nice with MacEffects' clear Apple II.https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/a2floppyclearplate/apple-ii-floppy-drive-clear-face-plate

GSPlus-howto print from application to a file on Windows 10

I do not understand how  to print from an application running inside the GSPlus emulator. For example, there are no error messages that result from printing text from within the 'Teach' application, but I have no clue as to where said text is 'printed'.  By contrast, it is possible to print a text file from inside an application within the AppleWin emulator to a file named 'printer'txt' located in the folder in which the AppleWin.exe file resides.

How I cleaned my Apple II Rev 0 funky no-worky keys on the Keyboard

Related to my other post regarding the repair of my Apple II Rev 0 computer at this link  https://www.applefritter.com/content/my-apple-ii-rev-0-psu-info is my solution for fixing keys that did not work.

After powering up the computer with no I/O cards, I hit Reset and got the expected VGA dispaly.  I did a key test, pressing each key down the rows of keys and found some keys didn't print on the screen, and some keys bounced resulting in several characters being printed on the screen.

High quality single page schematics

Hi,

Does anybody knows of Apple ][ schematics that are on 1 big page (A2/A1) in high quality? It would so much easier to follow on screen and I would to get some of them printed on a big poster as well. I do remember in the 80's an electrician/enthusiast friend of my dad that had a whole collection of A1 or A2 schematics of Apple and Commodore he used to pull out when fixing them. I have been searching for a few days now and have found the traditional websites with the schematics split over multiple pages and often of medium quality.

Thanks!

Video-7 RGB *without* 64k?

Does documentation exist for this card?  I believe it is RGB (it has a 15 connector)  but just not the RAM.  Anyone aware of this card?

Apple //c repair video

Hi all,

I've recently purchased an apple //c for myself and I was told it had an issue with the floppy. Well, it turned out it was a bit more than that. I made a repair video, any feedback always welcome!

Apple III Fortran

Was Apple III Fortran a real product? I read references to it from Apple from a couple of brochures/magazine articles, but do not see it listed on any price list. I recently viewed a YouTube video on the Apple III and the author showed a program selector screen with Apple III Fortran as a option to select. Is Apple III Fortran available to download somewhere?

Fastchip conflict with mouse card.

I have a Platinum IIe with mouse card and AE RAMWORKS 1MB. I run the Airheart demo with the Fastchip (RAMWORKS OFF). After several minutes, regardless of speed, the system freezes. Without mouse card and/or with internal 448KB RAMWORKS ON, the demo runs continuously.
