Apple II

Eprom programmer driven by Apple II Gameport

Make this board and program your 2508 to 27128 eproms from the gameport controlled by simple Applesoft programm.
It´s rather simple, cheap and easy to build ! The pages contain the source programs and links to diskimage
with the program and a example disk containing several eprom updates for Epson FX, MX and RX printers.
Contains circuitplan and PCB layers ! It uses only standard ICs and transistors.

Prototype double-decker Unidisk 3.5 drive.... WOW

Check out what I just found on ebay:

This is an awesome piece of hardware. As far as I knew there are next to none of these floating around.

[Solved] Eeny, meeny, miny, moe... Slot suggestion?

I just acquired a Bank Street Laboratory interface card, with temp/sound/light sensor probes, a light and speaker, and software, but no manual.

I'm a little afraid to plug it in... Can anyone suggest which slot this might go in? Or if anyone has a manual they wouldn't mind sharing/copying? There are numbers on the back, JCE-3 94V-0 (or 94V-O). The software doesn't offer any help, it only says that it can't detect the card.

Thanks for any help!

Michael

Troubleshooting Language Card

I have an Apple II+ that I have been slowly restoring. I have replaced several chips on the motherboard and the RAM to the point where it functions perfectly until I put in the the language card that i got with it. In running a language card test, it fails the memory test saying every chip failed, but passes everything else, so I'm doubting the memory is bad. My question is, should I start replacing IC's on the board (the capacitors don't look so hot either) or is there some other chip on the motherboard that I should replace first to test the language card?

Apple II Plus motherboard

Anybody know where I can find a high-quality image (line drawing, photo, whatever) of an Apple II Plus motherboard? Ideally I'd like it to be plan view (bird's-eye view). I just want to map the board.

Thanks!

Running games on IIGS

Do Apple II games run under GSOS? I have a selection of .dsk, .2mg and .po images on an SD card that I can access with UniSDisk. GSOS has also been loaded from UniSDisk.
I can change images while in GSOS and selected image is shown as disk in desktop.

How Apple II games in general are executed? I don't have a real floppy drive for my IIGS.

Apple II Plus No Cursor

Hi. I have an Apple II Plus. When I turn it on, there is no cursor. On the willegal site, it shows:

No cursor .1uf above 555 B8

Is that a capacitor? What/where is 555 B8?

Thank you.

Apple II carry bag with bite vs no bite...

So I've seen bags with and without the bite.

Does anyone know when they transitioned to the bite? When did they stop making the bag?

Can't find many details about it other than early Apple II had no bite if you bought the bag.

Thanks,
Corey

Frobco and their Frob-26/Frob-52 cards - Is there any info on these?

Hello.
Recently, I found out about a company - Frobco - and their Frob-26 and Frob-52 cards. I have been looking around, but there is no information on these. The best I can find is an ad in BYTE Vol. 7 Issue 12. Does anyone know about this card here? The concept of hooking an Apple II straight to the game platform is pretty neat, but again, I can find no information. Any help on this would be appreciated.
