Best hardware diagnostics software

Hi, I have an Apple //c and a //c plus, and want to run diagnostics on some drives and hardware. I have copy II plus, Apple II diagnostics, and Locksmith, but none have an extensive diagnostics program, can anybody recommend something better?

Apple III Disk?

I just found a floppy drive on eBay that I have never seen in my life:

Any information on it? Looks like a weird prototype, or made up enclosure...

How to remove paint from Apple IIe.

I just purchased a couple of Apple IIe's from off ebay. They are both in great condition, but they have both been painted! Whats obnoxious is that by indication of the space bars and parts that were missed, both these computers appeared to have not even been yellowed in the first place!

Questions for selling some hardware

Hey, new to the board though I have been lurking for some time now. Decided recently to break out the old Apple II hardware and see what I wanted to keep and wanted to sell. After reading threads on this site over time I figured here would be a good place to start asking questions. All the machines are mine (at least the several I am considering selling) and were bought new. My first question is about an original Apple II. Wanted your opinions on if anything looks out of place.

My Apple IIe

Hello everyone,

yesterday I received my Apple IIe. Unfortunately the monitor got broken and shows a large hole in the side. I'm trying to clarify this with the eBay dealer. Nevertheless the Apple IIe is in a normal condition. This machine is from 1984 as I could see when I opened the case. The marker writings on the case will be easily removeable with isopropyl alcohol.

It's a " MicroStar II " cover on an apple ii plus. I've been around Apple's for a while and I have NEVER seen this before.

It's a Memory Lighting Control panel apparently. So I have a basic idea of what it does, I was just curious if any one owns a complete set up, and if anyone knows the history of this thing?
