IIgs ROM-0 Mainboard Differences

I own a ROM-0 that was part of a //e Upgrade Kit. Today, I saw photos of another ROM-0 board, and it has two slight differences that mine lacks.

 

There is an extra resistor on it, plus a little bodge board.

 

Do any of you know the purpose of these?

Apple ASIC'S 344-0010 IIe MMU

I would like to know where to get one of these chips for my Apple IIe (enchanced).

I think this maybe my start-up problem I a having.

I've been searching the internet but no luck.

Anyone know where I can get one?

Apple Pascal on IIGS

Has anyone successfully used Apple Pascal on a IIGS? I have a ROM 01 IIGS with two 3.5 drives and one 5.25 drive. I thought I would be able to find a 800K disk image of Apple Pascal 1.3 somewhere, but I was unsuccessful. I have also tried to use Floopy EMU as a second 5.25 drive. I have tried Apple Pascal 1 disk in the real 5.25 drive and Apple Pascal 2 disk in the Floppy EMU and the Apple Pascal 1 disk seems to boot okay, but the Floppy EMU blinks a few times, but all that is on the screen is a square character in the upper left corner of the screen.

PC Transporter rolling video issue. Any ideas?

Hey, all.

 

So I've got my PC Transporter installed in slot 7 of my IIgs ROM03, connected to an AppleColor RGB monitor by way of the ColorSwitch. And although all Apple II graphics modes display perfectly fine thru this connection, whenever the PC Transporter is engaged and switches to MS-DOS, the video starts rolling up the screen. Adjusting the VHOLD of the monitor does not fix the issue. Before anyone asks: Yes, I have slot 7 set to "Your Card" and I have tried using different slots.

strange video output

i have powered on my Apple IIe PAL and i got the image that you can see in the attached pic.

have you any idea about the damaged part and this issue?

Apple IIe (enhanced) start-up problems

On my  Apple IIe (enhanced) I get the two beeps, the power light is on, and have this on my screen: "0102-    A=00 X=FF Y=00 P=77 S=EF"  followed by the * on the next line.

Apple IIe display problems

Hi guys,

I'm having a pew problems with my Apple IIe PAL and an Apple II Monochrome monitor. There seems to be this watery effect going down the screen and the text is not very clear. The monitor is good as I've texted it on another Apple IIe. What things can affect the video and what can I do to try and better it or fix it?  Its hard capture on photo so I can't post any screenshots.

.woz disk image to 5.25 diskette

I have started using .woz disk images with my Floppy Emu and they are working great. I'd like to copy the .woz disk image to a real 5.25 diskette. I tried DOS 3.3 master COPYA program, but get error when it tries to read the .woz image on the Floppy Emu. Has anyone created a bootable 5.25 diskette from a .woz image?

Change ProDOS Initial Programme

As far as I remember things, ProDOS runs the first system file that it finds in sequence after the initial ProDOS bootstrap. Is there any way to change what it loads short of re-making a disk and choosing what was copied to the first blocks? 

 

What I want to accomplish, is to create a bootloader utility on an existing HDD volume, that lists the devices and slots; with an option to boot into GS/OS or to boot from another slot entirely.
