AP-64e Eprom Programmer SW

Hi Everyone!

I have an AP-64e Eprom programmer, and want to do a test on my Apple II+ (64K)

Is there any software for this card ,(Disk.dsk) or this card only uses the program inside the eprom  ?

(built-in firmware)

Apple II crystal question

OK so I'm working on this Rev-0 board and I think it was modified for PAL.  I don't own a euro system so I have nothing to compare it to.   I removed a whole load of jumpers and other crap on the back and repaired some cut traces.  I got weird video out of it, so I checked the crystal and it was an M-TRON 14.25045 MHz which is wrong for NTSC.

 

I replaced it with a spare no-name 14.31818Mhz crystal but still messed up video....

//e enhanced that won't run or list

I recently acquired an Apple //e Enhanced that had only a few minor issues, or so I thought. It only has a disk controller card in it and I did find one bad ram chip which I replaced. However, for some reason, I cannot run the commands "RUN" or "LIST" in either the built-in basic or ProDOS. I can load programs from the disk drive just fine but can't run any basic programs. I haven't found anything yet in my searches to point me in the right direction. Has anyone seen this before?

Early Apple II (Silver) power supplies and load for testing

So I am restoring an Rev-0 Apple II supply for someone. I was told it wasn't working and It was missing the power connector, so I replaced that. I opened it up (it already had screws, I know older supplies were riveted). Visually everything looked good, nothing leaking or bulging. I checked the fuse.

OK basics done before I dig into real troubleshooting.

Apple IIgs won't read anything but 5.25 floppy

What is the cause of this symptom?

 

Started ealier today.  My iigs now refused to see/communicate with or in any way acknowledge the existence of any drive with a format above 5.25 140k.

 

I have floppy emu.  Smartport drive is no longer working. The computer says "no device detected" or maybe it is "check startup device".  Or both at different times.

 

That is with floppy emu in 3.5" emulation mode or smartdisk mode.

Apple ][+_ Working but showing horizontal bars

Hi,

  I got an AII+ that appears to be working. It seems to boot, and I can type and see moveemnt on screen.

It is just the main board with only 16K installed. No cards

But there are horzontal bars inplace of charaters.

I have a working AII+ next to this one. I have swapped EVERY chip between them. The working AII+ still words fime.  The broaken one still  shows horzonal bars.

Virtual ][ (II/II+/IIe emulator for Mac) beginner issue

I'm considering purchasing a license for the (Mac OSX-based) Virtual ][ emulator as it appears to be easy and straightforward to use (as an Apple ][+) and most of it is self explanetory, but I'm having a problem getting the 80-column autoswitch function to work:

Smarterm ][ 80 Column Video Card Manual

Does anyone remeber how to use the ALS Smarterm 80 column card? I have searched for any information and come up empty. A friend gave me an Apple][+ with 64k memory 2 disk drives and the video card but I can't figure out how to get into 80 column mode. Any help or links to a manual or site would be appreciated.
