Disk II troubleshooting guide

Does anyone know of working links to Disk II drive troubleshooting guides?

I found links in some forums here but they don't work for me.

My first Disk II drive is working great, I can create bootable disks with AdtPRO (great tool!).

The issue is with my 2nd Disk II drive which I recently bought on ebay:

1. When connected as the first drive, it will not read any disk. It powers on and just keeps spinning forever. I cleaned the drive head but it did not help. Worse, it seems to be erasing disks :-(

Apple ][ Plus Glitches? Also Diagnostic Software recommendations...

I have a 48k Apple ][+ with a Z80 and ROM switch card (with original Apple ][ ROMs installed on the card), however, I do not have a language card at the moment. The computer works for the most part, but every so often, it gives me some graphical glitches. It's usually fine for the first hour or so, but after a while, it would lose horizontal sync when I hit certain keys (mostly the space bar). The effects were temporary at first, but eventually, the picture would cut out completely or come back with random characters on the screen.

Apple II Europlus, vertical white bars on screen

Hi all :)

First post - I have had an Apple II Plus (Europlus actually, I'm in the UK) in my loft for more years than I care to remember, and recently I've decided I am going to get it working, as well as some other 'vintage' computers such as a couple of C64s, VIC20s, Amigas, BBC Model Bs, etc.

Apple ][ Plus, Keyboard works (now) except Shift?

Recently, I got an Apple ][ Plus in externally decent condition, but internally not so great (lots of dirt and debris, some corrosion on the motherboard).  I've replaced the motherboard (tested to work, and boots).  The old motherboard has no video signal whatsoever, no beep (did beep for a bit, but then stopped).  Unfortunately, the Keyboard had been plugged into it backward (something that I didn't realize until I tried using it as a guide on the new motherboard).  The new board still boots.  But most of the keys didn't work (mostly the letters).

Schematic for DynaComp Apple 2e power supply 606-5001?

I fully recapped the power supply in my 1985 Apple 2e.  It is a DynaComp 606-5001.  It no longer works, I believe the problem is with the -5V or -12V side.  It clicks as if it is shorted.  +5V and +12V work fine.

I am troubleshooting it, but could really use  a schematic diagram.  Does anyone have one?

All I have been able to find is a cap list and placment diagram  link

Thanks for any help,

dave

Unidrive 3.5 issue

I recently picked up a unidrive 3.5 of unknown working condition to use with my ROM4 //c. Unfortunately, seems like the condition is not working. When I put a disk in, it makes a sound like it's trying to line up the peg with the hole on the disk hub. Then when I boot it on my IIgs (the //c is currently boxed up), I hear a motor inside spin on-off-on-off-on-off and then the IIgs just gives me the sliding Apple error screen. I should note that I disassembled it before doing anything and cleaned the heads carefully with a qtip and 99% IPA.

Apple II Gameport EPROM Programmer

I saw this page which has a description for an eprom programmer:

https://www.applefritter.com/appleii-box/H049_AppleIIepromProgrammer.htm

Is there a ready made layout file I can use to order a PCB?

And is there a proper BOM list somewhere, which makes it easier to order the correct components?
