Disk ][ Question:Slot Selection

After reconditioning some Disk ]['s I found that they worked terrifically well with all software, when booting them in slot #6. Trying to boot from slot#4 created issues however. It was driving me nuts at first, when I didn't realize the solution, and I was keeping slot #6 open for being able to quickly be plugging in and out an I/O card (for running a DuoDisk).

Basic compiler for A-//e

A question for all you good Apple fans.

Does anyone know of a compiler that will work on an enhanced Apple IIe to compile Applsoft code?

I tried TASC, but it makes assumptions about the enhanced IIe ROM that NOT correct.

BTW, I am still using DOS 3.3 for nostalgia purposes.

How to run an Applesoft program from a floppy disk?

Folks,

Recently purchased an old Apple IIe, and I'm trying to set the clock in an Applied Engineering Timemaster II H.O. clock/date card.

This card comes with a floppy disk containing a program (written in Applesoft BASIC I think) called SET CLOCK. I need to run it to set the clock.

I'm new to Apple II computers, and wonder how do I run it?

Haven't figured out how to find a command line in ProDOS, so I'm at a loss.

Thanks for any help/tips you could provide me with.

Enhancing an Aplle IIe

I searched on this, but could find nothing specifically about my questions. It seems the search engine is not that specific and if I put IIe in the search, everything with IIe in it comes up. IT appears to be doing and 'or' on keywords rather than 'and'.

I've got a couple of questions to those that might have done a DIY enhancement.

Albert Computers

I'm looking for info on Albert Computers, the company that produced the Albert (an Apple II "clone" with some fairly advanced bells and whistles). I'd especially like to talk to anyone who worked there and/or has firsthand info about their design and production processes. I've found what appears to be a prototype mainboard for the Albert, as well as a number of other items, such as a draft of the user's manual, product shots, pictures of mockups of the retail packaging (Polaroids!), etc., and I'd like to get more background info as I review and catalog these materials.

Help with Scott Instruments VET/2 Voice Entry Terminal

Got a Scott Instruments VET/2 and was wondering if anyone had any info/manuals/software/knowledge/whatever!

Had little luck searching here and online other than basic description.

If it helps any, in the photo of the interface card the top left cable coming out of the card (marked "ROM Only" was attached to the 74LS11 socket on an Integer ROM card. The bottom cable is in the center RAM socket of the top row of ram on the MOBO directly under the card. The top right cable coming out of the card is in the 74LS139 socket on the MOBO.

ADT Pro Question.

I have a ADT question. For some reason or another when ever I use ADT Pro ( Apple Side ) I am able to transfer disk images no problem , they turn into 140K images , but when I go to use them with Applewin the images do not boot? Heres the weird part , if I use the old ADT 1.20 program , images transfer just fine and they work in Applewin! I have the batch program that runs on my laptop which is windows 7 . Not sure if there is a setting issue with ADT Pro or not . My IIC+ is running at normal speed not accelerated . Both Laptop and IIC+ are at 19,200 baud rate settings .
