Run Mindshadow from Apple II hard drive

Does anyone know if there's some way to run Mindshadow from an Apple II hard drive? I have no issues running it from the original 5.25" floppies but I'm trying to figure out a way to run it from my hard drive as this would be much more convenient. Also wondering if anyone might know what format the disk is.

SoundChaser and Mountain Music System on an Apple IIGs

Hello all,
I acquired a SoundChaser, keyboard and mountain Music system card pack the other day and I'm trying to get it working under my Apple IIGS and no luck. I get a few tones when I try a demo song but they seem to stuck like a broken record.

I'm now doubting if this will run under an Apple IIGS. I've reduced the speed to normal in the control panel and I have my cards in Slots 4,5,7 as stated in the manual. The slots are defined in the control panel too.

Can anyone confirm this works under a Apple IIGS?

Most Laughable yet -- 1978-Apple-II-Computer-Integer-BASIC-Steve-Jobs-and-Wozniak-Collector-Quality-

Here is the latest laughable ebay advert from 'danapplemacman'

It is for an "1978-Apple-II-Computer-Integer-BASIC-Steve-Jobs-and-Wozniak-Collector-Quality-"

http://www.ebay.com/itm/120860101174

So everyone study the text and all the photos, both in the advert and in the body of the text, and see how many school boy errors make this NOT A GENUINE 1978 machine...

I have spotted at least 9 errors:

[1] - Photo of 6502 processor shows it as a MOS with date code 2881 - 28th week 1981 - not 1978

Advise on a desoldering/rework station

Well I may have to make the plunge soon and I am starting my research.

Anyone here have a desoldering station or special tool (other than a simple sucker) that they world recommend.

I'm trying to keep the price below $125 bucks, need it to be able to work in tight places and not damage the board.

Do those "Chinese" bulky desoldering guns with the electric pump work? They are I think 90watts and about $80. Or should I be looking at a "station" where the pump is remote which cost more $$$$.

Diagnostics - Is it worth buying a cheap portable oscilloscope?

Maybe a little off topic, but I have been contemplating buying a cheap (<$150) portable oscilloscope to mess around trying to fix a pile (read 10 and growing) of Disk II drives I have accumulated which seem to have various curious problems (6 of them pass speed tests, but won't work properly). I have received alot of great advice in the past from people here to fix these, but I think to get under the skin of them, I will have a go with the Disk II trouble shooting guide and see what I can achieve following that through.
