Getting Mystery House to boot

Hi everybody,

Last time you helped me out with my Apple II (see https://www.applefritter.com/content/apple-ii-europlus-help-diagnosing-no-prompt). It still runs!

I got the Drive II's running as well, it boots DOS 3.3 and also some games and software I have.

How to test a Cirtech plusRAM card

Hi,

I have a Cirtech plusRAM card with my Apple II, I believe it is a 1 meg card with an additional 1 meg on-board.

I would like to check the card is working but I'm unsure of what I can do to show the additional RAM in the system.

I've tried running Apple-Cillin and doing a RAM test but it does not appear to detect this type of expansion card.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

ProDOS directory sorter (not CAT.DOCTOR)?

I've been using CAT.DOCTOR to sort the root directory on my ProDOS floppy boot volume, to specify which particular system files are loaded.

However, CAT.DOCTOR appears to be incompatible with Dan's Apple2Card.  I'm not in front of my Franklin at the moment, so I can't report the exact error that it throws when I try to read in the root directory -- but it does bomb out.

Before I start reverse-engineering CAT.DOCTOR, is there a workalike that I can test to see if it works?

Looking for double high-res colors explanation

I will preface this by saying I'm not trying to rant at anyoneor be rude (and I apologize if it comes across that way), I'm just trying to be as precise as I can be with my question; I'm after a very specific thing.

Apple II din serial adapter?

Does anyone know of an adapter that  can be used to take the large Din connector of the Apple IIc and adapt it to connector to the small Din connector on say the IIgs , IIc plus, or the Mac?  Id really rather not make one as soldering a mini din connector will drive me nets.  So again a large female din 5 to a small male 8 pin din.

A2Forever Posts about Apple Cat Voice Mail / BBS software

Howdy.. I see that member a2forever posted a few posts quite some time ago about bbs software that would (using an apple cat modem/dtmf decoder/SAM, and im sure other odds and ends) would allow a bbs user to dial in, select a menu option then be "dropped back" into a digitized voice messaging service using touch tones for navigation like a VMB..  Lots of people including me asked him to upload a copy but I never saw any response that he did.

He hasnt logged into the bbs for 5 years - was just curious if anyone else might know about this software/have a copy?

Murder Party (Electronic Arts)

I've spent the last few days decoding the complete text for the game Make Your Own Murder Party from Electronic Arts, something I've wanted to do for decades. But in the process I've discovered that there seems to be only one unique copy of the Apple II version available to download, and it's broken. (The same copy is shared on hundreds of sites.)

FujiNet for Apple IIc/IIc+/IIgs ~ Anyone have a 3D printed case for this?

I know Javier Master has created a great one, but haven't seen him post his 3d printing file.  Anyone that has one of these FujiNets, if you have a case I'd love to get my hands on one.

Super software sales

Have to downsize and I have a lot of 5.25 floppies of all kinds of stuff; some original and some copies. I estimate 80-85% of the copies work fine. The copies worked fine in 2021.  Some were nibbled copied and drive speed might have to be adjusted for those 15%. I have gotten rid of most of my Apple 2 e's.Anyway, essentially I would charge a little less than $1/disk plus the cost of mailing.
