I am not very computer literate, so this may seem simple to many. I have added itunes to my desktop. I have downloaded a song. It is an mp4 or mpeg4, I'm not sure. I want these songs to download as mp3s only. How do I do that? and I need it in simple language, please!!!

Well, forget everything I stated before. I seem to be changing my mind fairly regularity these days. I do not know if is because of the lack of sleep or I am being slowly changed by my wife to be more like her. If I was in marketing I would say, I have adapted in an everchanging environment as new information became known to me. Or some BS like that.

MacBook Pro MOD

guys, i just ordered a macbook pro and i am looking to seperate the screen from the laptop base. I seek professional help. The idea is to have a slim and lightweight "desktop feel" with this kickass new mac.

What i want to do is mount the screen (which comes with iSight) on a VESA mount on my table. The only complexity is the ribbon cable that needs to be now streched for over 1-2meters. Also understand, that i will be moving the screen back and forth when i need to i need to know if the robbon cables can handle this?
