Technologically challenged

okay i think i am a little bit behind the times as far as computer technology, my newest macintosh i have or will have once the post office decides to drop it off, is an iMac tangerine 266mhz, i am writing this entry on a performa 6110cd with a 233mhz g3 upgrade and 64mb of ram, my newest pc is a pentium 3 500mhz. My newest laptop is a soon to arive 5300cs. This equipment does what i need it to do, i see no reason to upgrade unless something breaks beyond my ability to fix it.

A series of fortunate events?

Info about me (and my yard sale).

Sorry, but this post failed the smoke test and was deemed unDOTable by the author.

It's just my DOT. Not unlike any other DOT, this DOT has special meaning and purpose for its owner, Vantage Point. You might notice that this is the special touchable DOT, not to be confused with the untouchable DOT, and, as such, is always within reach. So, whenever you feel that you need or want more, just reach out and touch the DOT.

Learn something new everyday...

I received a letter today from the local Police Service, whereby I received a brief but nonetheless all important lesson. Let me first explain in the words of Inspector Bob Farlow:

Section 42(1)(c) of the Ontario Police Services Act states as follows: "The duties of a police officer include, preventing crimes and other offences and providing assistance and encouragement to other persons in their prevention."

Credibility? How important is it? Who has it?

I read the Applefritter FAQ today (again), and discovered something that I seem to have missed every other time that I've read the FAQ. If you haven't guessed, I'm talking about the prohibited discussion of Apple rumours.

I remember reading the back page fo Amiga World in 1990-ish where they announced the new "Digi-phew" add-on the the then-breakthrough Digiview.

Video done

I have not updated this blog in a couple of weeks. I have been busy at work as well as working on this project. I have pretty much finished the video section of the Apple IIE. All modes look good to the eyes. The FPGA board has switches that I am using to set the different modes.
