My Macintosh Collection.

My First Encounter with macs was probably when I went to school fete and I inherited two Mac Classics.
They had Mac os 6.0.7 on them and some sweet stuff on them such as clarisworks and a touchtype course.
during that time one of them dicided not to work anymore as in when turned on no bootup noise screen nothing visible or hd noises.
Then we inherited a macintosh LC 575 great machine to typing up documents etc.

RealVNC port for OS X? RealVNC/J/X

I thought that using a server and client from the same provider might solve the problem ... I found RealVNC ...
Unfortunatly a native port of RealVNC has not been made for Mac OS X yet. ... Select 'read more'

Who’s zooming whom here? Disney can have the courts prosecute, fine and imprison somebody for possessing what – if the laws had been followed – isn’t technically owned by anyone but the public.

An Old "Book" For My Library - A Rebuilt PowerBook 150

PB 150's are the red-headed stepchildren of the 68k PowerBook line. Nobody really wants them. I often wonder why. My first PowerBook was a 150, and I thought it was a decent enough machine. The screen wasn't great, but it was fast running System 7.1. It also typed easily, and for me, that is always a plus. Sadly, it died one day, quite possibly the victim of a lightning strike while it was charging. Even after replacing it with more capable machines like the PB540c and 5300c, I still miss the PowerBook 150. That changed in May, 2005.

I've used "strips" before, but ... This double-sided Velco is amazing as you can refactor your cable arrangement when needed ... Select 'read more'
