Arg I wanted to cry and whine

I was at REPC yesterday. Someone brought in a Beige G3 tower, monitor, and all the baic other stuff. He wanted to sell, they weren't buying, so the guy paid them $16.25 to take it off his hands.

Stupid me == Afraid to ask him to sell it to me instead for $20.00.

And yet, they are selling much less nice boxes for 50 bucks!
If they dropped the price a bit I'd buy one! Admittedly I only want to pay $20 bucks but still they won't have to pay to send it to the dump.

Duo Blues

It turns out I don't *have* to have the top or the bottom of the dock,
just the weirdy midling bit.

Stuff to sell

Hey, my main deal on the internet is selling Macs and Mac parts and Mac stuff. I scrounge up all I can and either spiff it up and re-sell it or scavenge out the good bits and sell them. I also buy some stuff and swap for stuff. I have a butt-load of 5300 and 3400 laptops at the moment. I will fix one up the way you want it and make a good deal for you if you have any interest in these machines. You can e-me here, via AppleFritter or directly at racan@flash.net. I havew stuff going back to the 030's, but most of what I have on hand at the moment is PCI (several 8600s) and some G3.

Someday, They Have To Die...

Like many of us here on Applefritter, I own a multitude of computers, and like many of us, I lament about how much space they occupy. I've taken the steps necessary to shrink my collection to something a bit more manageable; so far, the PC's have flown away, but the Macs are doing so slowly. That's fine with me, as I'm still waffling over which machines to retire.

POWERMAC G5 FOR SALE!!!

Hello, I have a powermac here for sale. I have had this powermac a little after the a G5 Models came out but I have not used it very much, I mostly used it to surf the web and use a few graphics programs, also play a few games. It has served me well and is extremely FAST!!! and in excellent condition, cosmetically as well as performance wise. I have never had any problems or had to take it to be serviced for any defects or anything. I have switched to an iMac G5 due to the fact that I live in a tiny apartment and do not have much desk space for a big tower.

Such nifty man

I would have just bought the one torx driver I needed.

Performa with an uncertain future

A performa that needs help finding a new life

I've gotten the new 36mg ram for my duo. I have a newer larger hdd too. The other two things I need are an os 8 disk and an torx-8 driver. I don't actually have one of those. Doh!
