Parts for Apple Network Server

Of most interest to me are the following:

- 68 pin SCSI interconnection board, if possible with cables (but not necessary)
- Apple Ethernet PCI card, part number M3906Z/A

This ethernet card is NOT the one which was used by Apple in some early G3 systems commonly named "SA0025" in many e-bay auctions and alike.

Also of interest though only of "secondary" interest:

- AIX 4.1.5 for Apple Network Servers (I already own the original 4.1.4)
- a 1 MB cache module from PowerMac 8600 / 9600
- the 200 MHz cpu card for Apple Network Servers (I already own the 132 and 150 MHz cards)

Though not made by Apple I am accordingly looking for an "universal" AIX 4.1.5, especially the CD containing drivers. This universal AIX (made by IBM, not Apple) was delivered in two versions: "universal" and "CPU-specific", as far as I know. I am hoping to obtain complete driver installation files, the fixes still available from IBM are just fixes, not complete installations.

Any offer will be very welcome!

Leo,

First of all Welcome Aboard.
There are many intersting things happening here all the time and very interesting and knowledgable folks.

Second, you might try eBay for your AIX 4.1.5. I have seen it listed there, but the prices that some of the sellers want places it out of my reach.

Re: Parts for Apple Network Server

Hello Steven and thanks for Your welcome!

In fact I am looking many times at ebay's for Apple Network Server related parts and software - the 4.1.4 AIX and two Accessory Kits were sold there. But there are only very few offerings, I've never seen a 4.1.5 since I own my box. Hopefully I will find what I need some day...

I might not be a real "pro" but I think I can offer some knowledge about older Mac systems, too. In my AppleFritter blog there is a small overview of what machines I use and what I am doing with them. Maybe there is something of interest to the community. Anyway I am looking forward in attending AppleFritter!

Leografix, there's an Apple Server (appears to be a whole working one) on my local Craigslist...
