ADTPro - Audio and SSC issues

I have been trying to get ADTPro working now that I have a good working Floppy drive.

Both Audio connection and SSC connection has the same issue - garbage text after the first couple files listed when doing a remote directory.

I can send data fine,  I have even sent a copy of a disk back to the computer and ran it in AppleWin.  Using the DiskServer website, i can send disks via the audio connection.  Just not with ADTPro.

Adapting the Apple IIe mouse?

I'm considering a purchase of an Apple IIGS. I already have an Apple IIe and mouse.

Can the Apple IIe mouse be adapted to work with the Apple IIGS by using an adapter to convert the DB-9 connector to the small Din connector?

Apple II Plus Keyboard Not Working

Hello everyone!

Apple II monitor & flyback

My trusty Apple // monitor has given up (A2M2010P European/PAL model). The root issue seems to be a dead short between the #1 and #7 pins of the flyback transformer. That's a short between a primary and secondary winding. Not good.

What a bummer. It's still got a bright green phosphor CRT, decent, unscuffed case - and not too much yellowing. And having my original green CRT with the machine is somehow part of the whole experience of running the machine.

Trashpicked Apple IIe - vertical bars on screen and graphical glitches

Several weeks ago, I found an Apple IIe lying in a pile of trash and broken furniture on the curb a few miles from home. I took it home and completely disassembled and cleaned everything, and replaced the RIFA filter cap in the power supply just to be sure. Other than the keyboard, everything seemed to be in good shape, although there was some corrosion on sockets and internal connectors.

Apple IIc disk drive

Hi! Recently I got an Apple IIc and all is working except the internal disk drive. I passed the built-in checking (Ctrl+Open Apple+Closed Apple+Reset) and after around 1 minute it says "System OK", but when I put a disk inside during the startup (and even withtout any disk inside), a noise can be heard and the message "No bootable device" is shown.

GGLABS A2SCSI - Clone of APPLE SCSI CARD 607-0291 rev. C

I have Enhanced Apple IIe with Grappler+ in slot 1; SSC in slot 2; 5.25 disk controller in slot 6; A2SCSI in slot 4. Trying to boot ProDOS from 5.25 floppy.

Finding the boot hangs whenever the A2SCI is installed, regardless of the state of the SCSI hard disk (on off connected disconnected).

Am not finding much documentation on this card and it's hard to run diags if the machine won't boot.

Anyone have experience with this card?

Thanks,

Paul

A2M2010P monitor screws

Hi

I was wondering if anyone could help me identifying the two different kind of screws holding the plastic case on an A2M2010P monitor. (2 in the upper back and 4 under it, so two different kinds of screws).

If you have the correct specs or could unscrew and measure from your own monitor. As it is now the screws are misplaced and it's not possible to assemble the monitor.

Since I'm in Europe, my ability to test different imperial screws are quite limited, so getting the correct specs would help a ton.

Thanks in advance!

Another source for old cables

Today I visited a place in Riverside, California that I hadn't been in since the 1980's. The place is called Electronics Warehouse, and their website is https://www.electronicswarehouse.net/

They have old parallel, DB9, DB25, floppy drive (PC), and many other types of cables for great prices. So if you can't find a good source for old cables, try this places.
