Recommended sound card

I’m looking for a sound card that will output stereo sound on my Apple IIGS. Which one does everyone recommend that had wide compatibility with games? How many games for the IIGS support stereo sound? Do 8bit Apple IIE also support stereo sound if i have the sound card installed?

No-Slot clock for Apple ][+

Good morning, I was looking for a schematic to add a no-slot clock to my apple 2+, but it seems that there is not much around other than the adaptation for the 2e version.
Since I also need to replace bad roms, I designed a circuit that does both. I prefer to design things myself rather than buy them already made.
I tried it on breadboard and it seems to work fine in conjunction with Super Serial Card, 80 columns Card and some others. Do you think there could be conflicts in some cases with other peripherals that respond to C000h-C7FFh range?

Silentype printer help

I just picked up a Silentype printer at a flea market that looks to be in exceptional condition given its age. It even came with a roll of thermal paper (that may or may not be any good.) I connected it to my Apple ///, installed the silentype driver and sent a few commands from Business Basic. It appears to go through all the motions (w/o paper installed) - I see the print head move back and forth and the roller advances as I would expect.

How to use CFFA3000 and RamFast SCSI together in an Apple IIGS?

Anyone used the CFFA 3000 along with the RamFast SCSI on an Apple IIGS? Any issues with this setup and which slot should each card be in?

Brain Board II build - EPROM help

Hello friends:

I am in the process of building a Brain Board II. I have everything assembled, but I am confused about how to program the EPROM.  I have read Mike's manual from the original Brain Board, but I don't quite understand the table about programming the board.  I have 27c128's and 27c256's available.

Are the values in the columns offsets for each rom file? In other words, when setting up the programmer, do I put the D000 rom at offet 0x1000, rom D800 at offset 0x1800, etc?

Any pointers are most appreciated.

Cheers,

New ROM 4X System ROM for the Apple //c and ROMXc

Thanks to MG, there will be a new version on the ROM 4X coming out soon that provides additional support for both the ROMXc and the Xdrive2c. And it will automatically detect if one or both of these devices is present and provide the appropriate commands. Although the Xdrive2c is still in beta testing, anyone with a ROMXc can test the new ROM image from this disk. The only difference you should see is the new "8" command which will now take you directly to the ROMXc menu.
