Apple IIc Keyboard Issue

I recently picked up an Apple IIc, which actually works better then expected. It boots up fine and the disk drive works fine, the keyboard is just all out of wack. Whenever I am using the keyboard, while on the boot screen or in a program, the keys only register as spaces or random characters, never what I am actually typing. I have looked on ebay and found other IIc's with this problem but nothing on the web that can help me fix it. Any help would be appreciated!

Decapping

Out of curiosity, has anyone de-capped
any of Apple's custom chips and
taken a photo die?

It would be interesting to see //e and IIGS chips.

Where to get an Apple IIe Monitor Cable

Hello all, Can someone lead me in the right direction on where to get a monitor cable for the Apple IIe? The jack on the base unit is a different size than the monitor. Is this normal?

Thanks!
Mitch

Building my own SD card interface for the Apple II

Hi there,

just out of curiosity, I am currently in the middle of building my own SD card interface for my enhanced IIe. I am not trying to build a floppy replacement, but more of a ProFile replacement with a SD card with one (later multiple) 32MB ProDos partitions.
The hardware is based around André Fachat's SPI65/B CPLD SPI controller that I have modified for my own needs. My handwired proto board is working fine and I will have a proper PCB made soon.

CFFA3000 & Apple IIGS

Ok I was recently given a wonderful Apple IIGS system so I dug out my CFFA3000 and proceeded to set it up.

I do not have a CF Type I card reader on my macbook or PC, so I copied the GSOS 6.0.4 disk images to a FAT formatted USB drive, plunked it all together and booted slot #7 to the assigned "smartport" disk image.

My problem boils down to basically this:

Telnet with Uthernet and UthernetII

With Telnet65 from Oliver Schmidt you can telnet from a Apple IIe enhanced with the Uthernet and the Uthernet II.

I made a fine working connection to A 80's Apple II BBS - a80sappleiibbs.ddns.net:6502

So you don't have to connect to another card like WiFi232 or Raspberry PI with tcpser (although they work very good).

If You Could Only Keep Three...

If you could only keep three Apple II related computers (Apple II, II Plus, IIe, IIc, IIc Plus, IIGS or clone) of all the Apple II related computers that you CURRENTLY own (not some dream list), which would they be AND why?

Again, which three AND why?

Mine are, (in no order of favoritism):

1. IIe Enhanced (parents bought it, still have it)
2. IIGS ROM 03 (as good as it gets for me)
3. IIc Plus (small with built in features)
