Apple II

David Schmidt

Just want to give a shout of thanks out to David Schmidt , if you ever get in a jam when it comes to transfering floppies he is the guy to go to. He just sent me a kick ass updated High Speed USb->Serial adapter and it works better then the one I originally had! Works like a charm on my //e with my Laptop! Thanks again Dave!

Some DSK titles anyone?

Hi.

I'm l,ooking to repair some of my original disks. Some titles I cannot seem to find:
1. ADVENT (The Apple version of Collosal Cave)
2. Apple Presents, The Keyboard.

Anyone have these stored up in DSK format from their ADTPro/ADT archives? Please non-gz format, as I sometines get corruption issues in unpacking them.

And, do they still make 5 1/4 floppies? Where's the best source?

Thanks

adventure.dsk won't transfer using adtpro --help

Hi

I've been making floppies from the weres files using adtpro. All these had size of 140Kb and transferred correctly. However, the ADTPro won't open adventure.dsk (or ADVENTURE.DSK). It just says, it was unable to open the file.

I noticed this file size is 47Kb. Any ideas?
Thanks

Can anyone help me with copies of some general Apple IIe disk tools?

I got a whole bunch of old floppies, but most wont read anymore (or give nasty errors).. I already calibrated my floppy drives.
There was like 3 different disk copy and repair tools, but they stopped working because the disks have lost their magnetic info I guess.

There's some software I'd really like to use (and it still works). But I'm afraid to use it any more because I dont have a backup.

Can anyone sell me copies of useful tools like that? Or I can trade for used-empty-floppies.. or whatever..
I live in Belgium.

thanks in advance

Any screenshots or videos of the IIGS version of Ultima 1?

Are there any screenshots or videos of the Apple IIGS version of Ultima I?
I saw that it's still for sale for $20 and wondered if it was worth it.
