cc65: creating an Apple2 ProDOS system program?

Hi!  I've been working on a memory enhancement for the Apple2enh target for cc65, and the emulator went directly into the monitor.  :(  It seems to have extra data in the beginning of the file.  I assume this data is not supposed to be there.  Earlier today, I tried to write a program to test how cc65 handles text for the Apple2 series and got the same results.  I must be doing something wrong.  I checked the cc65 docs. and tried to remove the header.  Same result.  How do I compile a cc65 program for the Apple2?

cc65 optimizations online!

Hi!  When I program, I enjoy optimizing my programs.  In fact, I have 50 optimization techniques for cc65 online at c65 additions - Manage Files at SourceForge.net, and most of them are mine.  I ask you to try them out and tell me what you think.

C64 Pics online; Apple2 pics?

Hi!  I like the C64.  It has some good games.  In fact, I have a lot of good screenshots of them at c65 additions - Manage /c64_game_pics at SourceForge.net.  They are mainly in the form of Windows wallpaper, screenshots as .bmp files and Win98 startup screens.  Now, I'm asking if there are any good Apple2 games with graphics good enough to do this, and, if there are, their names and how to get a screenshot from the AppleWin emulator.  Thank you.

How to delete corrupted ProDOS files that begin with an asterisk

I cannot delete a couple of directories because they contain corrupted files that begin with an asterisk. This occurred from trying to get AppleWorks v 5.x to install correctly. The files and associated directories were deleted using the utilities that come with Prosel (8-bit) as this is all occurring inside of the AppleWin emulator. Both Prosel 8 and Prosel 16 utilities, the latter running under GSplus both indicate that the directories under discussion and the files within them do not exist on the volume under discussion.

printtok: cc65 text questions

Hi!  I have a cc65 routine for CBM and Atari8 targets that prints strings with embedded tokens and expands those tokens.  It is inferior.  :(  It compressed the text for a text adventure by only about 13%.  I am working on a better version right now.  Does anybody here want an edition of what I currently have for the Apple2?  If so, do cc65's strings have the signed bit set?  If not, I can use literals 0x80-0x9F as tokens.

A question about SPAM

Hi!  I just subscribed to this forum and want to confess to those here who don't know me that I have a bad habit of SPAMming forums.  I am womndering what the best way to inform this community about my projects is without getting the message deleted.

Needing some suggestions on Disk booting issues

Currently looking at a //e mobo that doesn't want to boot from a disk. I've tried both Disk II and DuoDisk controllers and drives (both work on "good" //e) so I think there's a mobo problem and just started digging into that. But I've got no knowledge of how the mobo factors into the boot process (other than expecting it easily could)

Special Delivery Software on Asimov?

Is there a collection of Apple Special Delivery Software on the Asimov or anywhere else? I've been looking around and I can find one or two of the Special Delivery Software programs, but it would be nice to find a folder/directory with all the programs in one location.

Apple IIc - Writing to floppy disk impossible

Hi,

I have a problem with my Apple IIc, it works very well except that it is always in write protected. Impossible to save even a file under DOS 3.3 or Prodos

I also tested with a SDCard floppy emulator, same problem.

No problem with the floppy SDCard emulator on my Apple IIe, I can save a file.

I checked the track between the IWM and the connector, everything is ok.
