ProDOS ROM-Card issue

I have assembled a couple of the ProDOS ROM-Card (by Terence J. Boldt) but it refuses to boot all the way to the bitsy boot menu amd it goes into the monitor when the Apple ProDOS 8 V2.4.2 screen has come up. Have tried go re-program the EPROM (no difference) and tested different slots and with a couple of Apple II's (same issue).

Chips have been tested as well even though they are brand new.

Anybody who have had some issues with these or have a suggestion?

Converting dsk images to ProDOS order

I have a Booti card and am trying to convert some DOS order images to ProDOS order. Some images even appear to be in RDOS order, if that makes a difference. The images in question are dsk files that I have downloaded from archive.org. I'm not very experienced at this type of thing, so hopefully someone here can point out something obvious I'm not doing.

I have tried the following ways to convert:

1) Using the DSK2PO python script mentioned here: https://ct6502.org/product/apple-ii-booti/

W65C02S Adapter

Finally recieved a real W65C02S from Mouser today and it is in the IIe with the adapter board working like a charm. I will run drive tests later tonight but having spoke with Bernardo at the Byte Attic and hearing he had no issues I am predicting all will be well. Now that I am confident the design I will put the board files up on pcbway for everyone.

CFFA3000 v1.0 Rev C - Remote question

I see that the remote for the CFFA 3000 is included when a CFFA3000 is purchased. Does anyone use one of these remotes? If so, what are the benefits of using one?

Thank you!

Looking for clarity - Apple 6502 Assembler/Editor

Evening all:

I am looking for some guidance.  While I am familiar with the Merlin Assembler for Apple II, I am interested in the "history" and "originality" of the Apple 6502 Assembler/Editor.

I am refering to the software associated with this document https://archive.org/details/apple-6502-assembler-editor

I have found the Applesoft Tool Kit software on the mirror but I am unable to find the Assembler/Editor System Disk.

Also, the document refers to 16-sector DOS.  Is this the DOS that the Applesoft Tool Kit boots into?

DuoDisk (A9M0108) 25 to 19 pin Pinout?

I have an Apple DuoDisk drive and no cable for it.  I've been looking for a while, but haven't had any luck finding one, so I've to make one instead. Honestly, I think it might even be cheaper to make one.   Unfortunately, I have a problem.  I can't find the pinout for the cable.  Can anyone help with that?

Thanks! :-)

Need help putting CPM for Applicard on FloppyEMU

Can someone provide me with some information as to how to put CPM disk images for the Applicard on the FloppyEMU? I was hoping that it was similar to the ReActiveMicro Drive/Turbo that I have which allows large ProDOS hard disk images. But I've learned that the FloppyEMU requires a Liron controller (which I don't have), and the Yellowstone controller is not available as of yet.

I also have a Microsoft Softcard that I would like to disk images for on the FloppyEMU as well.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Imagewriter II prints from light to dark across the page

I just purchased an Imagewriter II printer to replace the non-working one I bought back in 1989, which I'll use for parts. It seems like it's in great condition and operating well, however after inserting a new/sealed cartridge I just bought (on eBay) too, it's printing very lightly or not at all on the left-side of the page, getting darker to the right-side of the page where it's normal.  So from left to right, it's going from completely not readable to readable.

How to clean internals of Apple A2M2010 monitor

I'm not experienced in working on or repairing electronics (other than basic inserting cards and such). I have a Apple A2M2010 monitor that I would like to open up and clean with compressed air. Other than not touching the tube and other parts around the tube, does anyone have advice on how to safely proceed with removing the casing and cleaning the internals with compressed air only? Or should I avoid this all together? Thank you!
