Apple2 upload site?

Hi!  I want to upload MadLibApple to different web sites.  I have it on my cc65 sourceforge site, uploaded it to asimov.com and e-mailed about it to a third site.  It's still in asimov's incoming/ folder, and the third site didn't reply.  Are there any other sites to which I can upload it?

Some questions about the Merlin assembler

Okay, just two quick questions:

1.  Merlin Pro comes in 2 versions, and can run under DOS 3.3 or ProDOS.  Are there any reasons why you'd want to use one or the other (besides the fact ProDOS supports subdirectories, etc.)?  What are the pros and cons?

2.  What's the difference between Merlin Pro and standard Merlin-8?

Apple Monitor Iic - For Apple Use Only + Yellow Dot?

I've been using this monitor for years, but just became curious about it's label with 'For Apple Use Only', yellow sticker dot, 'apple service', ser. # and some other identifier  in pen ink - all underneith the lable's lamination.  I was able to find one other image of a yellow dot on the rear of one of these monitors.  At one point, I had a G4 Cube that was labled on the insidc 'Apple Test Machine' and am curious if this is something akin to that or...  just something normal.  Certainly doesn't seem so to this brain.  But let's hear from the experts of 'yall out there.  =]

Hi all.  Let me know if anyone out there has any info on this card.  I got it in a box with multiple II+s, III, IIc+ ages ago.  STB Systems Inc, 2283 with the number 1765 written down for S/N.  1982, Made in USA.  I just hadn't found anything online.

to buy IIe key switch

I bought a vintage Apple IIe for $300 in August.

But the Esc key was broken. It wasn't that the keycap was missing, but the switch was broken at all.

idk how to upload image

I was going to buy a key switch on eBay. But I heard somewhere that the height of the switch varies depending on the location of the switch. I don't know what to buy.

And yesterday I accidentally broke the left arrow key too :/

Apple IIc screws

Hi!

I'm missing some screws of my IIc case and I haven't been able to find them or the specification for them. I would greatly appreciate if someone could point me to where can I buy them or find another complete case (with the screws)

Best regards.

Best way to open an Apple IIC - just drop it!

Another public service announcement.  I've been refurbishing a lot of Apple IIc's lately and they all have a lot of screwdriver/tool marks around the case where people were poking and prodding and levering (and therefore damaging) their case to open up their Apple IIc cases.  iFixIt page is wrong, don't listen to them.  Stop it people!  There's an easier, tool-free way to instantly pop open your Apple IIc case:

Open the handle, lift up the back of the unit 6", and drop it.

PSA - A2S4000 Apple IIc can still have the good Alps keys

Public Service Announcement.  I have two different A2S4000's in my possession that both have the amber Alps keys.  This isn't explicitly mentioned in some of the wiki's around the web but it is discussed in some of the forum threads around the web.  Posting yet again for anyone who wasn't in the know.  You might be able to pluck an A2S4000 for cheaper than an A2S4100 but still get those sweet alps, if that's what you're searching for.

A2S4000 early models - hairpin switches

A2S4000 later models - amber alps

A2S4100 - amber alps

A2S4500 (Apple IIc+) - orange alps

There's a bug in Fields!

Hi!  I have a cc65 UI library called Fields.  It provides a way to perform data entry and has menu support.  It has versions for some CBM targets and the Apple2enh.  You can find it at https://sourceforge.net/projects/cc65extra/files/ui/.  It doesn't handle my memory enhancements but should work in systems containing these.  Unfortunately, it doesn't, and I can't figure out why.  I'm asking for help with these.

LZW technique: What's wrong w/ my code?

First of all, I'd like to thank all of you here for your help.  Now, I'm working on many compression techniques, including one that uses the LZW technique.  Now, my rendition of LZW is doing very poorly.  I attached two code snippets responsible for LZW.  The code was written in cc65 C.
