How to submit Apple II disk image to Asimov

I would like to submit/post a couple of Apple II disk images to Asimov. It is an Avalon Hill golf game from 1983 that I believe is able to be posted (no issue with copyright) given there are many other Avalon Hill game titles already posted on Asimov. What is the process to get this accomplished?

Apple IIc dead Voltage Converter

Hey Folks,

I have an Apple IIc here with a dead Voltage Converter. (Not the external PSU, the internal card that slots into an edge connector).

The system is not booting with it in, but thanks to having a spare, I know the problem is the Voltage Converter, not the system itself.

I'm trying to find details (Pinouts etc etc) on this unit so I can start troubleshooting it.

It's not the same one as in the SAM's guide to the Apple IIc, to make things difficult.

I'd even settle for just a pinout of that edge connector...

Apple II Europlus garbage boot screen

Hi

I'm trying to revive my old Apple II Europlus, but I have a trashed boot screen when I power it up. The speaker make the startup bip, but then it halt there. Eventually, some random noise happen in the speaker. Does this screen mean something, or it's just trashed?

Thanks :-)

Apple IIc Power Supply - Should I replace it?

Hello:

I recently acquiired a complete Apple IIc system to add to my growing collection of 8-bit computers. A few years back, I had acquired a Apple IIe. I had read back then that I should not trust the old poewr supply in the IIe, so I sent it off to be updated. Now that I have the brick power supply that comes with the Apple IIc, I'm asking if the same recommendation applies to the IIc power supply.

Should I replace the Apple IIc power supply? I can get a new one form 8bitclassics for $26 plus tax and shipping.

Thank you!

VidHD and CTRL-^ activation

Hi Folks,

For those of us that use the VidHD, you'll know that it requires a CTRL- ^ key combination to bring up the configuration menu. I have a clone, a Sham Shui Po Apple II + and the keyboard has all the Apple II Basic Keywords on the keys, I have shown an example. Hitting Shift N does indeed print a '^' but hitting CTRL-SHIFT-N types the word "NEXT" so I cannot activate the VidHD config menu. Does anyone have any ideas or work arounds?

Trouble copying disk to FloppyEmu blank disk

I use my FloppyEmu (FE) quite often. It is a great accesory for the Apple II. I am having a problem copying any 5.25 disk to a blank disk image on my FloppyEmu (FE). I am using an Rev C FE with Apple II firmware version F29. I've verified that the FE SD card disk images are not locked. I have also successfully made copies of the 5.25 disk using a second 5.25 disk drive and diskette. The 5.25 disk is not copy protected and have used COPYA and Prodos Filer Volume copy to successfully copy the disk to another diskette using second 5.25 disk drive.

ProSel day-of-week patch?

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced an issue with ProSel 8 such that while the date and time display correctly, the day-of-week is one day behind. The attached ProSel snapshot file illustrates the issue.

It shows the date as 4-Mar-23, the time as 11:23 but the day-of-week as Friday.

I am using AppleWin version 1.30.13.0

Any help would be sincerely appreciated.
