On screen launcher for FloppyEMU?

Greetings all! I have a quick question. Is there some sort of software launcher I can use on my FloppyEMU in 5.25 disk mode to browse and launch my programs/games on screen as opposed to physically clicking buttons on the EMU and flipping through directories on the small OLED screen? I saw reference to a program called Sneeze on Captains Quarters BBS and I downloaded it but I don't really understand how to use it to access directories and programs/games on my FloppyEMU sd card. Thanks!

What happened to that ventless Apple II?

A few days ago I saw a ventless Apple II listed on eBay. The listing was kind of odd as it said not bid on the Apple II. The listing said it was a buy it now at a listed price but you had to send an email to the address in the listing. Today, I cannot find that item listing on eBay. Did someone buy it? Or did eBay remove the listing as, I believe, you are not allowed to state your email address on eBay?

CRT question

Hi all. So I found an old 17" Cybervision VGA CRT in my parents crawl space - it's been there many years obviously a damp space. It looks to be in good shape / the VGA connector screws did have rust though - I think I could clean it up with some contact cleaner. I plugged it in, turned it on and the screen showed no signal messsge BUT there was some crackling / ticking  noises which eventually stop. I did this several times and it seemed to happen less but still hear some.

BugByter disk Image

Hi Folks,

Can anyone help me find a DOS3.3 image of the BugByter software, I have done a decent search and it says it was in the Asimov repository here

Asimov/images/games/file_based/munch-a-bug_softstep_symbolsymon.dsk.gz

Has it moved? Is there anywhere else I could look or can somebody share it with me. Does anyone happen to know if you can set a breakpoint with it in EPROM?

Cheers

Using the TL866 programmer, I checked the 74xxxxx circuits

The test failed: 74F09,74F10,74LS175,74LS74.. I replaced

booting off a DOS 3.3 floppy - what should that look like? I forget!

Some 40 years ago, I knew how to boot my Apple IIe and what it should sound and look like.  But I've forgotten.

Online sources suggest I insert the DOS 3.3 floppy, and then turn the computer on.  I did that... not much sound came from the floppy, except for the sounds of the media being rotated.  I waited a while (a minute, two minutes?) and finally something came up on screen.  This looked very unfamiliar; what does it mean?

Solutions for Multiple Disk IIs

Hi,

I've tried to search through old forum posts to see if anyone had suggestions for this and didn't have any luck. Does anyone know of a good solution for switching drive 1 between a Disk II and Floppy Emu without constantly opening up the top of the Apple II? Are there extension cables being sold anywhere? I know there's a switcher out there, but apparently it can damage the Emu in 5.25 mode. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Sam
