sourcing dip connectors for keyboard encoder

Hi,

 

I have a broken pin on my apple ][ keyboard encorder card ribbon (DIP 16 pins) and I am struggling to find either the connectors or the full cable assembly. Does anyone know a place where I could source any of them? Shoud I consider a swap with a modern connector?

I am based in the UK but don't mind shipping from anywhere.

Source for Apple ][ 6502 cpus?

I have two Apple ][ Plus computers, both of which I think I have determined have failed 6502 processors.   Where is a good place to find replacements?   I've looked at e-bay... are those to be trusted?   Thanks in advance.

CFFA and 5.25" physical drive on a IIgs

Does anyone know how to have both the CFFA's Disk II emulation work and have a physical 5.25" drive on IIgs? Is this even possible?

I have a IIgs with two physical drives -- one 3.5", and the other 5.25". When plugged into the disk port on the back, the 3.5" appears to work just fine (presumably because it reads as slot 5) but for the life of me, I can't get the CFFA's Disk II mode to work with both it and the physical 5.25" drive I have.

Upload MadLibApple to Asimov.net?

Hi!  I have a version of MadLib for the Apple2enh created using cc65 at c65 additions - Manage /game at SourceForge.net and want to upload it to asimov.net and other sites.  How do I upload it to asimov, and to what other sites can I upload it?

Apple 2 unidisk adaptor to 20 Pin IDC Disk ][ and pass through

G'day,

If your like me and your apple units all have Unidisk DB19 Plugs, it is annoying trying to work with 3 party devices or drives with 20 pin IDC connectors.

I have some SDCard readers that I want to boot off, but also some unidisk and Disc ][ devices, so I have designed this and placed it on github if you want to make one.  It allows you to connect 2 x 20 pin devices or 1 20 pin as drive 0 (SD Boot) and then have your DB19 unidisk as a second drive.

 

please feel free to use at your own risk.  I would like someone to test with floppy emu as I don't have one.

Looking for a WORKING copy of the Viewmax-80 boot disk

Hello group,

Would anyone have or know where I cn get a working copy of the boot disk for the Micromax Viewmax-80 video card for a ii plus?  There's a 4am crack floating around that crashes and I found a copy of what I believed to be an original disk and that crashed as well. The card PR#3s into 80 columns fine but I'd like to run Applewriter and Visicalc in 80 columns  so I can actually use the card productively. Hopefully someone is famliar with this card and its software.

Question about replacing C1 on IIe PSU

The MP cap blew in the PSU. Before I order a new one, does it have to be a MP type cap? Or will any cap with the same values work?

Apple IIgs not moving drive heads - IWM?

Hey, all! New here, looking for some advice.

I have a IIgs that doesn't like reading 5.25" disks (and no 3.5" to test). The 5.25" drive works fine in a IIe with a newer controller with the DB19 port. In the IIgs, the drive head doesn't seem to like to move forward, so formats fail, reads fail, writes fail as soon as that head needs to move. Not knowing much, I assume that something is up with PH0-3, as those seem to control the drive head.
