Videx Videoterm jumpers

Does anyone have a copy of the Videx Videoterm manual which includes Figure 9, which is supposed to document the solder jumpers?

The only scanned editions I've been able to find do not include that figure.

Barring that, does anyone know what jumpers X5, X6, and X7 are supposed to do?

Apple III case screws

Hi, to finish the restauration of my Apple III I'm looking for the screws that hold both the power supply and the motherboard plate under the case.  As I'm in Europa, I don't find them. Can someone point me to the right direction? Thanks :-)

GS/OS File Types

I'm in the process of recovering files from a dead SCSI hard disk that contained ProDOS volumes on my IIGS. I was able to recover some files from the drive but it appears that the file types did not come along for the ride. GS/OS itself will not start up, complaining about system files being the wrong file type. When I examine the contents of the disk in GS/OS (starting up from a differnt boot disk) I can see that the icons are all blank documents, leading me to believe that the file types are missing.

Issues with CiderPress and MicroDrive Turbo

I've been mucking around with CiderPress in an attempt to copy over some .po hard disk images to the compact flash card for my MicroDrive Turbo. In Windows, when I load CiderPress and attempt to go to File > Open volume, I am unable to open the CF card as a physical disk. It is listed, however, when I attempt to open it, I get an "Access Denied" message.  I can, however, open it as a logical volume.

The instructions with the MicroDrive Turbo are specific about opening the CF as a physical volume. Any ideas why this error is popping up?

Options for IIe color video

Howdy,

I've scoured the internet and cant find any options for an Apple IIe => HDMI  video adapter.

My Apple IIe is a platinum version, and I think the color NTSC signal may only work with a special Apple Color monitor, but I'm not sure (I'm very new to rediscovering the Apple II).

I tried a couple of compositive to HDMI adapters from Aliexpress.  Only one of them 'works' reliably, and that is only when I'm displaying text.  During color display, the converter cannot sync

properly and colors are not displayed either.

Covox Sound Master card

Does anyone out there have one?  I've been thinking about building a clone, and I'd like to get some info about the card I can't find on the Apple II Documentation Project about it.

Proterm 1.1 vs 3.1

I am trying to get ProTerm 3.1 to work on an enhanced //e and an Apple Super Serial Card in slot 2.  It seems like the interrupts don't work properly for ProTerm 3.1, as it only seems to receive a character when it is sending a character.   For example, if I type "AT"<enter>, I can sometimes receive an "O" or "K" if I press enter afterwards, especially if the baud rate is low, for example 300 baud.  I can use ProTerm 1.1 at 2400 baud and there seems to be no problem, except that ProTerm 1.1 does not support RTS/CTS and so going at a higher baud rate than 2400 baud results in lost cha
