Ethernet keystone pigtail for Apple //e?

Has anyone seen an Ethernet pigtail/keystone adapter that fits in one of the rear mounting holes of the Apple //e? I'd like to route the cable from a Uthernet II card to it and keep it plugged into the Uthernet, but be able to detach the Ethernet from the back of the machine.

Thanks in advance!

Stream binary to Apple2 memory directly

I have an idea to stream a binary file directly to apple2 memory over serial. My setup is appleIIe clone not enhanced (Pravetz 8C) with 128kb ram. I've made a custom serail card which uses esp8266 with Bo Zimmerman firmware to stream data over http.

I've made a cc65 C program which can hook to http server and stream a file to the apple2. Currently the program takes 23 blocks on Prodos disk, which I believe is about 10k.

STL for Monitor IIc

Hi,

as I wanted to replace the RIFAs in a recently acquired Monitor IIc I acidentially killed the CRT.

Now I have gutted the case and want to transform it to a color LCD. The Panel of a dead iPad I had lying around fits in nearly perfect, a controller board is on its way to me.

Now I want to assemble the screen in the IIc Monitor case. But since the CRT is curved at the front there is a gap between the LCD screen and the case.

Apple IIGS Apple Pascal 1.1 cannot write a file to disk

I would like to know if anyone has had a similar experience.

I have a ROM1 Apple IIGS with 4MB RAM and two Apple 5.25 drives connected. I booted Apple Pascal 1.1 using APPLE1: in drive 1 and APPLE2: in drive 2. I wrote a new, small Pascal program and exited the Editor and tried to use the command W, write file to disk after Quitting the Editor. I entered the file name as APPLE1:PROG1.TEXT and drive 1’s red light turned on and the drive started to whirl. After a few seconds an error message appeared that there was an I/O error and a message to return to the Editor.

Wasteland from Archive

I have been trying for what seems like weeks to get Wasteland by Interplay working on my system. I've written the .dsk images to floppies with ADTPro. I go to the copy screen and I can't seem to copy side 1 of the game. Sides 2-4 seem to have copied correctly, but never side 1. All I get is a messed up screen of graphics. If it helps at all, I've been using both my //e and //c  I've only got one Unidisk for the //e.

A2VGA-like card with Mockingboard emulation at the same time

Hi,

I wanted to add Mockingboard emulation functionality to the A2VGA-like board at the same time as the vga output. The first problem that needed to be solved was to free up several GPIOs for the right and left audio channels as well as for /IRQ control. As you know, in the standard A2VGA circuit all GPIOs are occupied, and I needed at least three free GPIOs. In the standard circuit 9 GPIOs are used to output the color code:

Apple Ii won’t read ROMS

It's so strange . My Apple II can't boot with roms at the main board but can do with those roms installed on a romcard at slot #0 .I've checked socket connections and they look

fine.

Weird issue: closing disk drive door crashes Apple IIe

I got an Apple IIe enhanced with a 5.25" disk II drive. The weird issue is that after I boot a DOS or Pro DOS disk, it works fine until I open or close the door of the disk drive! When that happens, the computer crashes with adding a few random characters on the screen and entering the monitor. At the meantime, the disk drive light is on and the disk drive keeps spinning the disk. I've run a couple of diagnostics utilities like APTEST and Cillin II, all RAM tests passed without errors. What do you think causes the issue? The disk drive?
