Quadra 950 and WGS 95 (Trade)

Scaling back my classic computing hobby a touch because of life stuff...

Got a couple of things I would like to trade to somebody interested in preserving some cool Apple Stuff.

WGS 95
-1gb hd
-tape drive
-NIfty Apple SCSI card
-32MB RAM

This machine was gifted to me by johnklos as he was passing through town. I replaced the motherboard, but it seems a little glitchy. The PS may have an issue or the SCSI card. (Prob gonna have another look at it this weekend). The port on the PS to power a monitor doesn't work and sometimes when I power it up I get a chime but no video w/ the PDS SCSI card in. (Perhaps this has to do with the peculiar A/UX nature of the machine). When I got it powered up I have had no luck getting it to read my A/UX 3 disc from either internal or external AppleCD 600i (A burned copy), but w/o the SCSI card it boots and runs system 7.5 excellently. Smile Hum... rare and beautiful

Quadra 950
-256mb ram (Could throw some of this at the rockets if you fancy?)
-2mb vram
-Clocked up to 47mhz (Stable, see more below)
-Supermac Thunder 24 video card
-Phillips 2x CD-R (Yep Smile )
-1gb hd
-2xRadius Rocket IIs (33mhz 16mb ram each)

So this was my hot-rod project! When I replaced the crystal oscillator I installed a socket so it can be replaced to run at 33mhz or 40mhz as well. I also put a cooling fan on the processesor w/ some fresh thermal goo. In fact I have another oscillator socket and 2 of each oscillators, but could bring myself to mod the WGS. Video card rocks, having a CD burner on a 68K is a FANTASTIC novelty for those with older macs or A][s ! Smile What is really cool about this machine is that was previously an Apple Computer, Apple computer. I has Apple inventory tracking numbers on the drive bay covers... Sorry it doesn't have the coveted Q900/950 cd drive bezel, but a KILLER 68K!

I have made no attempt to clean either case and there is some discoloration, no terrible, but definitely NOT retrobrited (Some folk despise peroxide restoration)... And they weigh a ton!

Pics on request.

I am really only after trades as I'm sure someday I will have time/space to set these up and they are really fantastic an unique boxes.

Only stuff I'm interested in is Apple IIgs accelerators? system saver? and unique kit, an Apple IIc+ and kit, maybe, just maybe a supped up SE/30 as my wife still likes the old black and white mac games. I'm basically just focusing on the A][, but my wife really enjoys a number of the black and white games of yesteryear.

Hit me up with offers/inquires.

BTW I'm in SLC, UT, USA

This Quadra rig is a beast ! I'd love to get hold of such nice setup.

Thing is, I have no hardware to exchange (not really a ][ guy anyway), and am located in France. Would cover costs, of course.
