Repair or replacement parts for Apple II+ keyboard

I have one of the all in one keyboards for my Apple II+. I repaired a broken key stalk but have inadvertently wandered into a problem. A couple of the metal tabs broke off and Inam wondering if there is some way to repair them or if there is a way to get replacement parts. My 1 and 2 key do not work, and the key I repaired (right arrow) doesnt work either.

I did google amd search around on this but hadnt found anyone who was dealing with broken metal. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Apple II+ not posting

I decided to go after the keyboard issue in my II+ again. However now when I power it on, I get a screen full of this:

??@@??@@??@@??@@ etc.. with the @@s in reverse video. If I cycle the power, sometimes I get flashing > or other symbols at random spots. I thought maybe CPU, so changed that to known good, but no dice there. I know the ROMs are good and am confident the RAMs are ok... where do I begin on this one? Smile

Really stupid Apple IIgs keyboard compatibility question

A while back (better part of a year ago?) I posted about having a IIgs with what appears to be a blown keyboard controller. (And is still blown.) This weekend I was given another IIgs (also a "Woz Edition", I assume it's ROM01, and again just the system unit) which I have yet to power up. Here's the situation:

Apple IIe Enhanced logic board work with a PAL Apple IIE power supply?

Hi all,
Can anyone confirm that a US Apple IIE enhanced Logic board will work with a PAL European Power supply?

I know the Apple IIGS works without any problems but not sure about the Apple IIe.

Thanks,
Rob

CDA's and NDA's

I'm setting up my GS for the first time in 25+ years, I have forgotten nearly everything. Humbly I feel pretty dumb now, vs when I was much younger and knew a lot about my //e and IIGS. I found a bunch of old floppies that I have kept from my Apple II days and one of them has two folders on it called NDAS and one CDAS. Through process of searching my GSOS System folder I found that NDA's are New Desktop Applications (??) and they are what show up under the 'Apple' symbol on the far left of the menu bar. I copied a few in at a time not to rush anything, nor to get anything stuck.

Get rid of errors on your floppy disks. FIX THEM!

Here's a little trick that I have been using since the old days...

Ever encounter a floppy disk that keeps giving you an error in the same sector no matter how many times you format it?

WE ALL HAVE!

The possible solution?

A COMPLETE ERASE.

Also known as Degaussing, it will permanently erase a disk and bring it to a state of no format.

How to get my Apple II as close to original spec as possible

This query about integer ROMs has led me to a couple questions. My goal for this Apple II I have is to get it as close to original spec as possible. Here is what I know about the case and keyboard which were the genesis of this:

Case serial is A2S1-38495
Keyboard is date stamped Dec 17, 1979

Would I be more correct with the black slot Rev 04 board I have now (date code: 8024) or with something earlier? I understand the green slot Rev 04s ended sometime between mid 79 and early 1980.

What date code of Integer ROMs would most likely have been in there?
