TINA CHATBOT a bot i have programmed in rtc/2020

Dear Applefritter Users,

I want to share with you my new creation, nothing special but the code is a little bit of a thinking (for me!). It is a chatbot like you know ELIZA from Joseph Weizenbaum in 1960 fro make an example.

I want to tell that i havent copied anything by ELIZA or other chatbot, only the random answer was a thinking i had while building the Artificial Intelligence with Mark D. Overholsher that he programmed at that time because

Seeking a ProFile Pascal disk image

Hi folks. As part of a project relating to the Apple Lisa, I'm hoping someone out there might have a disk image of a 5MB ProFile hard drive initialised with an Apple Pascal filesystem. There doesn't need to be anything interesting at all on the hard drive---in fact, there don't need to be any files on it at all. Just the initialised filesystem is enough.

Even though my project is Lisa-related, I'm looking for a disk initialised by Apple Pascal running on an Apple II or Apple ///.

MousePaint Images

Hello,

This is a somewhat odd project I am attempting to accomplish. I have an Apple II with MousePaint and I am attempting to load in images created on a more modern computer. Seeing as MousePaint is a clone of MacPaint I assumed that the file type would be similar.

This process worked for MacPaint:

Process a photo into a 1 bit black and white image > Save file as .PIC > Transfer to older Macintosh.

Franklin FDC

This is a long shot, but...

I am going to replace some components on my Ace 1200 to tr to get the normal hardwired Slot 6 drives to work again. I sspect the r/w/ motor control at H12, but if it should end up being H10, the 'Franklin FDC' gate array ASIC (this combines several aspects of the Disk ][ card onto an ASIC, then I have two options.

1. Find another Fanklin FDC chip. I am open to this, if anyone has spares. This was used on the Ace 1200 and on some Franklin Slot 6 Disk ][ clone cards.

Changing the Apple II title -more info available!

A while back I posted a blog article entitled "How to: DIY changing the APPLE ][ title" where I described how to change that familiar title you see whenever the computer is turned on.

Now I've just posted a followup article which basically contains a magazine article I had found and read way back in 1983 which I now found again at the Internet archive!

Quick Question about Apple IIGS using Floppy EMU and ReActiveMicro Drive/Turbo

Hi everyone,

I'm brand new to the Apple II and vintage computer community (unless you count mechanical calculators). I have a question about some add-ons for the Apple IIGS (although the add-ons work for other II models). I have a Floppy EMU model C for running Apple IIGS and emulating floppy drives. I quite like the device but I would like to have a mass storage device like the ReActiveMicro Drive/Turbo in my Apple IIGS to boot into GS/OS and store images.

Failed to boot from floppy

Hello everybody,I write from Italy and I joined this active group because I was looking for information on how to identify the boot problem of my Apple IIe that I used when I was young. My first computer was the AIM-65 (the same 6502)I would like to know if anyone can help me identify the problem step by step. For now I am dealing with deep (very deep) cleaning. Here you see my idea of MoBo in the dishwasher at 65 ° C (with degreaser and detergent without rinse aid) and then in the oven at 45 * C for 8h.Isopropyl alcohol is very expensive now.

Universal PSU Kit

What are your thoughts on this PSU kit?

Are they reliable and worth the $70.00?

Needed: Videx Softswitch, or similar; or diagrams? Or 80-col card.

I have one Videx card, but the softwitch board is damaged, wires are broken and IDK which wire belongs on each pad, and the 16-pin header is missing one leg.

I could use a diagram for the card, to build another one; or a replacement softswitch kit. I have an AE 80 col card but it is absolutely filthy with some corrosion. I'm working on restoring it, but I have been a few days  at the task, and have more to go.
