GBS-8200 converter

My GBS-8200 converter arrived. As a test to see if it was functioning, I tried the output from my GS2HD. That worked well.
Then I tried to get it to work with the output from the IIgs RGB port.
I connected everything up the way I thought it should go and got a sort of blurry streaky pic. Brain churned for a few secs when I thought maybe I should try hooking up the ground wire. Picture turned sharp instantly. I'd been thinking of the IIgs ground as shielding but I guess not;

Uthernet II and BBS

I am currently waiting on my Uthernet II card to arrive, and I was wondering if there was a way to use that to connect to a BBS. Perhaps with Contiki?

Last resort to restore Apple ii Plastic to original condition.

Lately I have found that a lot of people will not use sandpaper to remove engraved letters on their Apple ii computers. That is because the sandpaper removes the original grain pattern in the plastic.

Others, do not want to bother with RetrObrite, so for those people a technique is still waiting to be discovered.

The only other alternative is to use this technique I have come up with.

Although I have not tried this myself, I would if I had to.

To restore the original grain type finish on plastic, use RustOleum Rippled Effect spray paint.

I discovered this spray paint about 2 years ago.

The grains can be simulated using this paint but it also depends on how well you use it.

So get your messed up plastic and experiment!

Give it a try just for the heck of it.

We can post the results on this thread.

I will post this info on Facebook also.

Here is the website for this unique product:

Applefritter Webside with Apple II

Hi,
I use my Apple II with the Uthernet card to reach the Internet.

Would be very happy if this forum could be used with my Apple II - but with contiki I can not Login.

Couldn't you prepare the page in that way, that it can be reached (Login) with contiki?

Thanks
