Apple II/II+/IIe Utility

Hi All:

I think I am loosing my mind.  I could swear there was an Apple utility that provided a way to querry the machine for which cards are installed/recognized.

I have tried all my utility disks but can't seem to find it.  Even Google has failed me.

Anyone recall which utility does this?

Thanks

Mark

Gmail access on an Apple II

I got my Apple IIGS online using an Uthernet II ethernet card this week. So far I have been able to copy files over my LAN from my Mac to the IIGS using FTP. Cool and convenient. But I really want to get it online. Most modern websites are going to be too complex (not to mention encrypted) for the IIGS but email, especially personal, plaintext messages to and from friends, should be fine.

Apple 2+ found in storage

So my boss found an Apple 2 + in his attic and its missing a power cord and a monitor. I need to be able to test it and see if it works. Would a standard PC power cord work with the power supply? And would a male to male component video cable off Amazon work to hook up to a TV?

What marker can be used with Infocom InvisiClues

I just received the InvisiClue book for the Infocom Trinity interactive fiction game. I thought any highlighter pen would allow the clues to be viewable, but it did not work. I think I need a special kind of pen/marker to see the clues. Does anyone know which markers/pens work with the InvisiClues books?

New user with an Apple 2c and Apple 2gs in Spain, Europe

Greetings from Spain,

 I am a new user of Apple2c and Apple2gs

These are not common in Europe, but both have come into my hands.

So now I am reading and learning about them, in order to get the most out of them.

Best,

Imagewriter A9M0305 Manual needed

Evening Friends:

I recently picked up an Image Writer wide format printer, the A9M0305.

I have been searching for a manual for this printer.  It is possible they shipped the same one provided with  the letter sized, but my gut says there was a secific one for the wide format printer.

Anyone familiar with this manual?  Have a copy or pdf?

Thanks,

mark

NE558

Yesterday at a hamfest I bought a whole rail of NE558s.   These are used in the Apple ][+/][e joystick port.  Let me know if there's any need for them.

Help with Lost Screws

Hi All,

I was repairing my Apple II monochrome monitor, and unfortunately misplaced the screws that go in the bottom of the unit.

The repair took longer than expected, with repacing caps first followed by new pots, took over a month.  Anyway, I placed the screws in a baggie, but now can't find it.  It's been 2 months and I was hoping it would show up but it hasn't.

Can someone please take a screw out of the bottom of their monitor and take some pictures so that I can get matching replacement screws?
