Apple II

Apple IIe went pop :(

After all my problems with my other Apple IIe in my last thread and finally solving them by replacing a faulty rom I can't believe my luck with this Apple IIe.

I was trying out a Midi Interface card last night. It was inserted correctly and I booted up and it worked fine. I wanted to leave the cables nice and neat and close the lip. I removed the card tidied the cables and replaced it. I switched on and something went pop and that familiar smell of burn electronics was in the air. arrgggghhhhhhhh!!!!!

recently,I find the apple II clone motherboard.I know this bid has been posted for a long time.I watched the picture yesterday,I discovered this motherboard include 16pin keyboard and II e keyboard interfacce.but I am not sure with joysitck interface too.so I ask every cyberfriends,how aobut this motherboard,I interest it.

Memory upgrade to 2 megs and more for a IIe (not platinum)?
What are my options?

I have Ramworks 1,2,3 boards but I don't believe I have the 2meg expander daughtercards.
So I'm wondering what are my choices to take a //e system above and beyond 2megs ram.

I'm primarily interested in working with Appleworks and very large text files.

Are there plans or modern-day ram boards that would fit the bill?

recently,I and my similar,we are together for record many apple II's cassettes for convert digital files.but unfortunatelly,many files will compatible apple II clone machine,just seven files can work to apple II + and apple II e,but don't worry about it,my similar keep about 50 cassettes needs to convert.just because he's machine has out of order.so he decided to rest for the several days.if any cyberfriends interest it and own apple II or apple II clone machine at the same time.you can inputed it by any output device player.pls respond me.I will send this .wav files or share it from my ftp.thanks

Mountain Hardware expansion chassis manual?

Is there a need for this? Considering there's only been 1,000 of these boxes ever made.

I have only ~5 hours of "Apple II" time this week, and how to best appropriate it. Manual scan or Sider drive teardown..?

Help for apple II?

When I put in a disk in the drive on my IIe, and I can hear it whirring, why wouldn't it be showing up on the screen?

(I know this probably has an equally simple answer, but I have never used an apple II in my life )

Looking for a ribbon cable for a CMS Hard Drive Controller Card.

Need help from you guys. I have an old CMS hard drive. But it's missing the ribbon cable that connects to the controller card itself. Does anyone know where I can pick one up? Also there are a series of dip switches on the back of the and with out any owners manual I am some what lost when it comes to knowing what dip switch does what...
