Apple II

Looking for clues and some help with a compact flash card for the Apple II.

Back in the day when Dune BBS was going strong , this was back in the 80's , the board was sold to a guy who I think lived in Cucamunga or Rancho Cucamunga? Ring a bell to anyone that may have lived in that area or remembers this? I think the boards name was changed also , his alias was The Wrench and I think he called it The Repair Shop? Just hoping that this would strike a clue for someone who remembers , you see this guy possibly still has the original Greymater Hard Drive that ran the board . We would like to see if he still has it stored away somewhere....

Bobo's Fun House (Help me find this game!)

Does anybody remember this game? I used to play it back in the day at school on an Apple II computer.

I've been looking for this game for years and any information would be appreciated.

Trying to get GBBS up and running with in Applewin.

any good Applesoft writers in here? I am trying to edit an applesoft program , actually it's GBBS to be exact . I want to get it up and running hopefully with in Applewin. I just don't remember alot of the programming like I used to :O( . this GBBS version is very important to a friend of mine and we just want to get it up and functional so that we can play around with it and get it up to demonstrate on a Youtube video.

Apple II Plus/Europlus repairs in UK?

Hi

Does anyone in the UK still repair II+ or Europlus micros?

I have 2 x Europlus & 1 x Plus, all of which display garbage on startup.

Any links appreciated.

Regards
Mark

Just got a //c

About 24 years after seeing one and deciding my old Europlus was in need of replacing I've finally got a working Apple //c with the green screen monitor, PAL modulator and even a Woz signed mouse.

It powers up fine, but until I can find where I stored my ancient collection of Apple ][ disks (and assuming they still work) the only thing I can get on screen is the Check Disk text.

Is there a key combi to bypass the disk boot and drop to the old command line so I can mess around with Applesoft, do a call -151 and play the "how many opcodes can you remember" game.

Original Apple I

I know many of you have probably already seen this, but here there is an Apple I up on eBay. All you need is a starting bid of $30k and you're on your way!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160413355114&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_2596wt_1165

Not sure why the shipping is so much for a MB and a few accessories, unless it will be hand delivered by Brinks Smile

How do I slow down my IIC+? Everything is running way to fast , LOL

Can someone tell me the key commands used on my IIC+ that slows down the speed of the computer? I can't remember off hand how to enable/disable the hyper speed on this IIC+ , when I run programs its at lightning speeds lol , but I can't find in the manual how to slow it to normal op. speed....... I know there are a series of keys you press when it boots up and it tells you on the screen when this is done...

Thanks..

Patrick.

What's the Pride and Joy of your Apple II collection

I know it is hard to say out loud which child you like the best, but I'm sure almost all of us have a favorite. If not a favorite, at least the most unique or even valuable. What is the pride and joy of your Apple II collection, if you had to pick one?

Fitting PAL Encoder card

I recently managed to obtain a PAL Encoder card to give me colour (color) output from my Europlus.

Is there a recommended slot to fit this into?

Also, the card has a trailing wire (Orange, in my case), which I assume has to be connected to the motherboard somewhere.

Which connector should this wire be attached to?
