Apple II Europlus Power Supply Fix

The power supply in my Apple II Europlus has just gone. With a pop, whisp of smoke and that unmistakable smell I suspect one of the capacitors have blown.

I've taken it out of the Apple but have not gone any further with disassembling it.

I know there can be hight voltages stored in some the caps but it should be fairly easy to fix - I just wanted to make a post here to check that I was doing the right thing.

What I've read online so far suggests that C7 is usually the one to go.

Running A Panasonic KX-P1124 Printer On a IIC

The start of something new.....

I have a Panasonic KX-P1124 Parallel Printer and a Grappler IIc device that I want to use with both my IIc and my IIc Plus instead of my Imagewriter, or Imagewriter II.

With so many knowledgable folks here I figured that I could ask without getting laughed at too much.

Is there any special software that I need to make this concoction work, or is it a fairly straight forward set-up?

As Usual; any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Unknown Apple ][ expansion card... Video/Graphics?

Hi folks,
I am an apple noob pretty much prior to Performa's, and that's not saying a lot- I recently happened upon an apple ][ with what I believe is a Rev I board in it, (#7850). This card was in it,(unmarked), along with a third-party disk controller card. I have no idea what this card is, as I wouldn't know most all other cards either. It has 1 male and one female RCA plugs, (cables), and the IC chip is marked "8545." Video/graphics? 80 column? (The CPU does not have an RF Mod in it, so...)
Any help would be appreciated. Jim

The CDrive Card

I was blown out of the water this evening.

An Applied Ingenuity CDrive came up for auction about four days ago on eBay. These things are very hard to come by in any way, shape, or form in the first place. To have one actually show up for auction is a miracle. So naturally I bid on it.

Laser 128 Error (loads fine but behaves like stuck keys)

I purchased a used Laser 128 and just got around to powering it up 3 months later and found it is a bad unit.

I plugged in the power supply and the screen Laser 128 ... came up. Control-reset makes it stop looking for the disk drive content and beeps once like it should but then beep beep beep beep forever while typing random characters.

I put in a disk and it boots and loads fine but after the loading is done it behaves like key is stuck.

I opened it up and disconnected the keyboard completely by the ribbon cable and it behaves the same way.
