Trying to Find an Action Game, Please Help!

Hello all!

I'm trying to remember the name of an action game I used to play on my Apple II when I was a kid. I had about 8 year at the time, so it was around 1988.

I fixed It!

I finally fixed my Apple II! The problem was that 74LS161 had an bent pin, so I got some IC extractors, pulled It out, and found that I could not fix the pin. I didn't go that far for nothing! I got one of my Bell & Howells that I was going to sell (I have three of those) and removed that chip from that computer and replaced It in my apple II. After that delicate procedure, I powered It on, and It finally made the beep noise that I had been waiting to hear for so long. So now It works. Hallelujah!
As soon as I can I will get some pictures of It working.
But I'm happy. (:

In need of an Apple IIe complete system!

I'm trying to get into my vintage Apple days when I had an Apple IIe back in the early eighties. Does anyone here have or know of where I can pick up an Apple IIe system for free Wink or perhaps pay a fair price for a "new" system that's been boxed away somehow? After I obtain the Apple IIe, I'm also looking for a game series called "Kings Quest" (I think there were about four of these games in the series written for the Apple IIe) which I really enjoyed playing back in the day.

Apple II problems

My apple II has been acting up lately.
Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
When it is not working there is no beep, and the screen shows nothing. The power light is on though.
Usually In cases like these, It shows gibberish on the screen.
But last time I checked, It was working perfectly. It even made the beeping noise wen I turned It on.
Any suggestions?
Thank you. First post by the way. whoooooo!!!

Looking for that elusive Apple RPG...

Hello all,

I'm trying to find the name of an old Apple II computer game I used to own ages ago: It was a dungeon crawl, played from a first person perspective. The dungeon itself was done in white-on-black raytracing, monsters were possibly in color. You needed to find some thingamajig at the bottom of the dungeon and then come out the way you came (which I never did manage to do).

How do I crank up an Apple IIe

MAYBE I finally found the right place?? I have inherited an Apple IIe with 2, 5.25" drives, monitor, and Imagewriter II, and a stack of 5.25 floppies. I need help. I am a long time MAC user (1986 Fatmac, all the way up to an IMAC G5 and 12"G4 powerbook, OSX 10.4.8)(Zero PC or DOS experience) This is the first IIe I have ever seen.(it was my Mother in laws) It came with 2 Claris, Appleworks Disks, a Start-up and a Program (WP and Database) The floppie files on the Data disks apparently were originated on this machine in "Word Processing". It all SEEMS to work.
