What cable to use to connect an Apple II to a plasma TV

Dear fellow Apple II enthusiasts

I am shortly going to receive an original Apple II from 1979
I would like to connect this to my existing modern plasma TV (the horror!!)
Please advise what cable I should buy:
as I will be ordering from the internet the more specific you can be the better.

Thanks for your help.

cc65 - mixing C and assembler

I have some questions about the cc65 compiler, and how to mix C and assembler. I have taken a routine written in assembler, and "encapsulated" it in a C function. But some things are a bit tricky...

1) according to the documentation for the inline assembler, one can use the format specifier %o to reference a local variable in the stack. But it does not mention how to access that variable. I looked at the assembler code from a compiled C function, and saw that this C code:

Apple ][+ problems

Yesterday, i recieved 3 apple II+
One works pretty well buy I have an "Expandaram" card that wont work with it.
The second one just boots to a screen that's just one solid blank color.
The last one was working for awhile, I was using it and went to wiggle disconnect a cable on the inside, my hand slipped and hit one of the cards, knocking it out of a slot, no the computer shows just 4 bars on the screen. I don't know what i killed on the motherboard, but i hear that pretty much every chip is still available except the roms.

looking for Apple II Emulator on Linux

Hello,
i'm looking for a Apple II Emulator that work's fine with Linux (Ubuntu 7.10)
At this time I use DOSBOX (Dos Emulator) and later a ApplePC 2.52 for Dos

Did anyone know Apple II Emulator that works with Linux.

It should be easy to use and install like AppleWin for Windows.
or should I try AppleWin with a Windows Emulator like Wine (Wine is a Windows Emulator)?

using adtpro->IIgs, why would a 1999 G3 PowerBook but not a 2008 MacBook Pro transfer successfully?

i've successfully transferred disk images using my old PowerBook but when i use the same USB->DB9 adapter on my new MacBook Pro i can't get images to transfer to my IIgs. the weirdest bit is that when i enter "Receive" mode on the IIgs and type the name of the disk image i want to use, the disk image name pops up on the MacBook Pro's adtpro server window and the IIgs moves on to the disk selection screen--but when i select the disk and it starts the copy screen the progress stops at Block 00001 of 0000280. any thoughts?

thanks guys!

Ideas for new Apple II games

I want to start developing for the Apple II, and I need some ideas for new games. I'm aiming at a fairly advanced action game (perhaps something like "Wavy Navy" ). Or maybe a Pacman-style labyrinth game.

I also started wondering; are there any new Apple II games coming out nowadays? I mean from non-commercial sources, like hobbyists.

Apple //GS just boops

I found a //GS that someone was discarding. I plug it in and all it does is a short, soft "booop," and that's it. Clock battery is dated 1988. It has an Apple memory expansion card. This is my first encounter with an Apple //. I'm guessing it requires an external floppy or disk drive for a system. What should I do with it? Does it have any value?
