Apple II+ System

Recently bought a II+ system from a gent. The system included a number of cards including a Thunderclock+, Softcard and languagecard, Everex 80 column card, etc.

Unfortunately, I keep coming back to a //e that I bought several years ago because that's what my folks bought me back in 198? I think it was my 15th birthday but we won't talk about the actual year. I might have taken a few parts from the II+ since there were some issues... now the //e is quite nice but the II+ is a little light on hardware now.

Dead Apple II+, good power on beep, but only ?'s displayed

Hi,

Longtime watcher, first time poster.  I recently got an Apple II+ from ebay and am trying to get it working.  Seller reported the power supply was dead, and that proved to be totally wrong.  I've gotton to the point where it will boot up to all question marks (common fault of course), but I do have a power on and reset key beep - so it seems it is kinda working.  I have not seen that scenario (beep with question marks) mentioned here - usually no beep when only question marks.  Any help on what to focus in on would be appreciated.

Here is the saga so far...

Compressed picts

Hello to everyone, I have a bunch of old 5'4 floppies where are stored many pictures. They are in a compressed format with the suffix .PAC and were compressed using a software program called Transition by Penguin Software. I still have it and it runs letting me viewing the pictures, but I'd like to save them uncompressed to transfer them to my Mac. Unfortunately, the program doesn't allow me to unpack the pictures. Does anyone know a method or software to rescue them? Thanks

Apple IIe ALPS logstem Keyboard big headache.

Hello everyone,

my name is Michael and I made a dream come true ... 36 years later ....

At the age of 14 (in 1985) I wanted an Apple IIe so bad. Now 36 years I got one of eBay with ten non working ALPS log stem keys.

Nothing brocken, nothing damaged but non working.

I took out the 10 keys, rebent that little spingy thing and gave that brass plates a thorough wash with what we germans call "Tuner Spray 900" for delicate contacts.

Titan Saturn 128k ram card won't boot cp/m 56k

Hi,

I have a Titan Saturn 128k ram card that passes all the Saturn SW ram tests (ramtest128k) and also 16k language card tests in Ap Test SW  but it does'nt load cp/m 56k.

I'm sure the  cp/m copy/image is good because it loads in MAME emulator with a standard language card.

Does anyone have the same configuration? Are You able to boot cp/m 56k?

Thank You

Luca

Games that require two disks

I am attempting to create a disk for a game that requires two disks to play.  When loading the game into an emulator the disk shows that I need to insert the second disk.  When I go to create the disk for the apple II, the second disk is not read and no game is ever loaded.  Is there a trick to creating disks that will indicate that the second disk will be need to inserted and then also read?  When I insert the second disk, the game tells me to insert disk one so it has created a cycle that brings me to believe the game was copied correctly but the disk drive does not attempt to read the di
