Attaching HDD/JAZZ drive to RamfastSCI on IIGS

Sorry for the noobie question but I'm trying everything poissble that I can think of o try and get my IIGS working  with the RamFast SCSI Card. My LacIE external hdd failed as the SCSI card won't reconginize it.I found an internal 50-pin SCSI drive but I'm unsure what cables to use so I can attach it as the ribbon cable connected it to the SCSI card that goes out to a 25-pin scsi header for attaching external drives in back of the IIGS.

Help identify make/model of this 80 col card

Can someone tell me the maker of this 80 column card? When I boot up my Apple IIE the screen is all jumbled and jumping around. I’m trying to figure out the intention of the card as which way it should face in the J0 slot. I tried changing it to different orientations since the slot is not keyed but it comes up to the Apple ][E prompt right away so I think think it’s facing in the right direction. Tia fir the help

Differences CFFA3000 RevC vs ReVB

I'm trying to figure out differences between these 2 revisions as I'm unable to find much info on RevB. I knoe RevC has USB port and RevB used the IDE. Can RevB mount 8 paritions at the same times so I can run "What is the Apple IIGS"?

Duodisk Calibration Woes

Recently I've been doing some maintenance on my Apples, and one of the things I've been having trouble with is tuning up the duodisk. While the Disk ][ has plenty of documentation and techincal manuals, the duo seems to be a bit sparce. I'm aware of the speed pots on the bottom, but what about head alignment/radial adjustment? Carriage limiter? Azimuth??  I do have a copy of APTEST, but I've been unsure as to what screws to turn to adjust the heads. That and the lack of detailed tech docs have left me in the dark. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Apple III ProFile

Hi, I have two Apple ProFile 5MB (A9M1005) drives.

At first both passed self-test (Ready LED solid after 30s).

Using Apple /// with ProFile I/O card, I tried System Utilities + Low Level Format.

After several attempts (with two different controller boards & ROMs), now neither drive reaches Ready anymore.

Any advice on how to revive them? Could EPROM reprogramming help, or is this a controller/hardware failure?

Can this LaCie SCSI HDD be used for my Apple IIGS?

I found this SCSI hdd in my stash and I was wondering if this would work for my Apple IIGS with a FastRam SCSI controller? This had a label that it was used for a MAC with System 7.5.1 installed on it. Can I re-partition this hdd to work on my IIGS? I'm unable to find much info for this drive using my friend Google.

Apple //e Platinum drops to monitor when attempting to boot from CFFA3000

I'm trying to bring up a new (to me) Apple //e Platinum with a CFA3000 card that I bought from Dreher via eBay a few years ago.  This is the first time that I've tried to use the CFFA3000 in any Apple.

The only cards I have in the machine are an A2DVI v2.0 in slot 3, Smartport floppy card in Slot 6 and the CFFA3000 in slot 7.  I have the CFFA3000's virtual Disk II slot set to slot 5.  The card came with bootable DOS 3.3, ProDos & RobotWars images on the CF.  Trying to boot any of them results in dropping into the monitor (usually at address C521).

DSK file -> Real 5.25 Floppy

Hello all,

Today I tried to copy several DSK files to real 5.25" floppy diskettes, out of 5 DSK files, only 2 worked (Copy II Plus 8.4, Pac-man), the rest, Choplifter, Karateka, Digdug did not work - 2 of the 3 just spinning the drive, without head moving, and 1 just drop me to Monitor.

Note these are all DSK files, not WOZ files, and they all worked in Virtual ][,  AppleWin emulator,  they also all worked with a real Apple //e with Floppy Emu.  I thought they all had copy protection removed, as DSK file doesn't contain copy protection information.
