Help with transferring files!

AHAHHH! I spent the last three days trying to either setup AppleShare on my apple IIgs OR trying to download files to my mac, then put them on floppies to go on my IIgs.

I cant seem to do Apple talk because the disk i made wont boot, and when i get files on my apple , they are all type $00 or Text Files.

I could get around these problems if there was a way to change file types in ProDOS without use of other software (that I dont have)

Help!

IIgs monitor info

Last night when I turned on my monitor it made a sound a bit unusual and louder then normal....the green power light came on then went off. I pressed the monitor power button and turned if off and tried again...same thing. I "lightly" tapped the monitor casing above the power switch and it came on and stayed on.

Same drill this morning when I powered up the monitor, except I had a bit of screen "shaking" but another light tap stablized the display.

I am guessing that I have a short in the power switch or one of the leads coming out of it.

Digicard System

I just recieved one of these with several D-Net interface cards....

I am looking for *ANYBODY* who knows about these systems, and am willing to compensate for any help/drivers recieved to get this thing going again.

Please post any info if possible.

BTW, when the digicard comes up, it blinks the A network light 5 times, and the B network light 3 times. Its some kind of error code.

Seeking Apple IIe OS Disks/Manuals

Hey guys,

I just recently grabbed an Apple ][e Platinum on eBay for a a relatively good price. Unfortunately I don't believe it comes with any OS disks or manuals, which is of course a slight problem as I can barely run my Apple ][gs as it is :P.

Would anyone be willing to make a copy of the OS disks I need to get this thing up and running? If not, I'm not against getting disk images and trying to make use of them through my ][gs to make the necessary copies.

Classic RPG Wasteland and Apple IIgs

I have a newer release version of Wasteland and it states for the "*IIgs (*in IIe emulation mode:64K)". I use to love this game so I thought I'd give it a go on my resurected GS. When I boot it I get the sound, but no graphics...just a blank screen.

Decent assembler & simulator for Apple II/II+

I am looking for a decent assembler and/or simulator for 6502/Apple II/II+. I.e. something I can use for testing and debugging of my Apple II+ assembler programs. I guess I want a 6502 assembler plus an emulator which supports loading the full Apple ROM image into memory. A big plus would, of course, be emulation of Apple I/O like display, keyboard, etc.

What are the best choices? (I run windows xp on my PC)

Help! Need a Mac OS X solution for CFFA use

O.k... I purchased Rich Dreher's CFFA1 & CFFA2 drive for use in my Apple computers. The problem is that I do not have a means to move software images to the CF Card on my Powerbook. Ciderpress is supossed to be the software to make this happen, but it is a Windows only application.

Is there ANY Mac OS X solutions for moving software from my Powerbook to the CFFA? I am posting this request on several sites but so far there hasn't been any response.
